There is no stopping the "Dark Forces". All attempts to stop it have only stalled the "Dark Forces" from attacking. There is no complete destruction of the "Dark Forces" because it is all around us. The night is one form of "Dark Forces". The night also protects other forms of darkness at the same time. There are many alliances that the darkness has. This causes the fight between light & dark to have unlimited battles. This is true due to both the light & the dark needs to other to exist or to have purpose.
The light has the powers of all "Holy" things (religious stuff) and a few other things that are "positive" and "good". These things would be classified as the strongest attack against any form of the "Dark Forces". Some believe that if the "Light" didn't have the "Holy" stuff that the "Light" would fall. The problem with that logic is that every person/thing has "hope". Until the "Dark Forces" can remove "hope" from every given person/thing, the "Light" will not fall. The "Dark Forces" has a great amount of power, however the power of "hope" has an undetermined amount of power. Although the "Holy" stuff has a great amount of power, the "Dark Forces" do defeat some of the "Holy" stuff due to some "Holy" things are made to fall to the "Dark Forces". It also depends on the "faith" or "hope" that the person possesses when using the "Holy" things to fight the "Dark Forces".
In the past, the "Dark Forces" have found weaknesses from the attacks from the "Light". Soon there will be no stopping the "Dark Forces. Once the "Dark Forces" all join together, all "Holy" things will fall. The "Dark Forces" are truly an unstoppable force, to many, when the "Holy" things fall. This is true because many people will lose his/her "faith" and/or "hope" when he/she sees the "Holy" things fall. Everyone believes one way or the other about the power of the "Holy" objects (for any religion), and when it has been proven that the specific objects do not protect anyone any more, people lose their sense of "hope". This is true now, as it has been proven in the past.
