She falls down to the ground screaming and yelling, rolling around in the dust. Akar frowns and looks at Orion that stands next to him. He growls to get the boys attention. "I believe this is your work little human?" Orion looks into the mad blue eyes of the wolf and lifts up his shoulders. "I guess so Akar." He looks at the maid again and sees how her face bleeds from the scratching of her fingernails over her skin. It looks likes she is still trying to get rid of the spiders. "I suggest you undo your magic spell Orion. I don’t know what made you do this but stop it at once!" Orion frowns at the wolf and shakes his head. " No Akar I can’t do that, she’s evil." Rowena looks scared from her brother to the mad wolf underneath her. Then the maid screams again, she’s tearing up her clothes in panic. "Orion? I think it’s enough now, what if she kills herself?" Again Orion frowns this time looking at his sister. He nods after a few minutes and concentrates. Slowly he makes the images of the spiders fade away and the maid can calm down. The wolf shakes his head, so the girl has some influence on her brother. That can be very useful, he’s powerful, a mind manipulator.

Akar growls at the maid and tells her to leave them at once before he kills her. His words are not necessary, she screams in madness and runs away.

" Please accept our apologies Akar, we were just protecting ourselves." Rowena smiles carefully to the mad wolf and mumbles some words. A piece of meat appears in front of the wolf. " We are really sorry Akar." The wolf frowns and shakes his head. Some magicians need years and years of training to create a simple rose out of nothing. She made a piece of meat like it was nothing and it looks and smells delicious. Well well, wonders do exist. He grins and nods to the smiling girl. "It’s alright Rowena, but the next time you and your brother will tell me what you are up too okay?" Both children nod and laugh when the wolf starts to eat the meat. Orion walks on and tries to shake the image of the maid with her bleeding face. He knows he will always do everything to protect his precious sister but that doesn’t mean he enjoys it. He saw how scared she was, he saw the horror in her bright eyes. He cries silently and hears the wolf and his sister come closer over the soft sand of the road.

Rowena jumps of Akars back and runs towards her brother. She wraps her arms around him and whispers sweet words in his ear. "I love you Orion and thank you." He starts to cry louder and cuddles in the arms of his twin sister. Akar gives them some privacy and walks on to scout the area.

Rowena starts to sing a sweet lullaby her mother thought her. Her bright voice pierces the silence around them. Her eyes look at the clouds above them as she sings about peace and happiness in a world of dreams. Akar turns around in amazement to listen to the little girl sing. Orion listens to the simple words of his sister and calms down in her warm arms.

None of them realize someone else is listening between the old trees of the forest.

A man with bright white hair and the body of a horse hides between the bushes and trees. A centaur, his eyes shine with the light of magic, his appearance shows pride and wisdom.

He whispers in a strange language. "Sing little beauty, sing the song of dreams." He smiles and neighs softly to the centaur behind him. A young stallion who’s body is as black as the night. He trots towards the older centaur and neighs in respect. "What is that sound grandfather?" His warm brown eyes look into the dark black eyes of his grandfather. "It’s a human girl Sre’tah, one with magic in her soul." Sre’tah snorts with arrogance and pride. "No human can make a sound that beautiful grandfather." The old stallion turns around and frowns. "Do you question my wisdom young one?" He looks offended and sees the fire in the eyes of his grandson.

"No grandfather, I’m sorry. I just believe that humans are murderers of this planet and everything on it and not even their wise ones have my respect."
