He knows he will protect the boy with his life but he has to get him out of here. He looks around him but there is no place to hide. " Hang on!! I am on my way." Again the voice in his head. But now Blood hears it as well. He looks shocked and for one moment looses his concentration. The boy smiles and walks further with firm steps. What was that? Blood shakes his head and looks back again.

Suddenly a clear howling is heard and shadows are seen on the ground. Strange reptile like creatures fly above them. Their eyes burn with fire when they spot the two humans on the ground. With a penetrating scream they warn the others. Behind the two humans strange creatures rise up out of the ground. The prince screams as he sees these creatures aren’t human. Blood grins and grabs his weapons. With a soft sound he throws his knives at the first creatures that come close. The knives pierce their hearts as they scream and fall down. He grabs his sword and waits. The reptiles look at the man with the burning blue eyes and for one moment they stand still. Blood starts to whisper to the prince. " Whatever you do, don’t fly away. Stay on the ground where i can protect you!" The reptiles start to hiss and scream. Their slimy heads glow in the sunlight. Their thick strong tails move from side to side as they lick their lips. " Get the boy alive but kill the other human!" A strange dull-toned voice commands the reptiles in the front. For the first time Blood sees their leader. A large crocodile like creature with cold little eyes. He sits on a giant animal. A sort of slug with a big sharp beak. The animal screams with an awful sound when he smells the humans. The crocodile leader strains his muscles to keep the animal at his place. " GRAB THE PRINCE!!!" He gargles his command and the troops move forward, grinning and hissing. Blood stands still and waits with his strange grin on his lips. He laughs and looks at them. " Come and get it guys!!" He smiles and teases them. The creatures scream and attack him, but before they even get close they are blown away backwards.

A strong wind confuses the reptile forces and knocks them back. They scream with anger and attack again. Blood looks behind him and sees a young man with bright purple glowing eyes. His hands are spread as he sends heavy winds to the creatures. A big panther jumps in front of Blood and kills a few creatures with a great roar. " YANNIS! GRAB THE PRINCE AND TAKE HIM OUT OF HERE!" A strong voice of a woman resounds over the plains. ""Jameya!! Protect Yannis and the prince and get the hell out of here. More of them are coming and we have to keep the prince alive!" She runs forwards until she stands next to Blood. " Wake up! You almost got killed here!" Quickly she uses her sword and cuts the throat of one of the snake men. He falls down and gargles. Blood looks at the figure in the silver cloak in surprise. A woman that uses a sword? " SHAYE! COME WITH US!" Yannis screams to her as he grabs the prince and runs away. The creatures in the air start to dive down. Jameya blows them up again with his strong wind. Xiya grabs a few out of the air and rips them apart. She roars with pleasure and licks her lips. " NO! GO ON AND GET OUT OF HERE! I WILL HOLD THEM BACK!" Shaye moves around the creatures. Her sword slashes a few open . Blood finally gets back to his senses and defends her. Swiftly he moves to her. A heavy tail hits him in his back and he falls down. Quickly he rolls over and almost got pierced by a sword. He throws another knife and jumps up. The creatures scream in pain and anger. " THE PRINCE IS GETTING AWAY! GET HIM!" The leader sounds angry as he sees the prince escaping from the scene. Only two humans are left. " Please Shaye come on! We are save now! Need help?" Xiya sounds worried. " No my friend! Get the prince to the undergrounds. The flying reptiles are coming your way and Jameya is getting tired. He can’t hold them back forever! I am sorry my friend!" Shaye closes her mind for the angry cat and concentrates on the battle.

" Well, do you have a plan?" Blood whispers to her as he parries and strikes. He knows the prince is save but he feels that this woman is important as well. " FOLLOW ME TO THE TREES!!" She kills another hissing snake and runs away. Blood follows.
