" Keep them away from here and trust me alright?" She looks at him and for the first time he sees her green eyes. " Okay, no problem!" He turns around and waits for the creatures. More and more are coming. They just rise up from the ground. Magic!! Blood shakes his head when he looks down and sees a light blue mist. He looks over his shoulder and sees the woman is fading away. Her body disappears and suddenly there stands a beautiful black unicorn. He stares at her beauty and is shocked. A shapeshifter! Her voice comes through in his head.

" Although i hate to say this, jump on my back! I will try to get us out of here and since we can’t fly out of here this is the best way!" Her voice sounds calm but worried.

Blood doesn’t hesitate but jumps on her back and holds on. Shaye neighs and runs through the lines of reptiles. As fast as lightning she gallops away. But then the crocodile leader jumps in front of her. She stops in an instance. Blood almost falls off and screams.

The reptile slashes Shaye with his big sword. She neighs in pain when the sword cuts open her chest. Then the crocodile falls down. A knife in his heart. " SHAYE!!!" Blood screams out her name when she starts to stagger. The other forces close up on them. She looks behind her and carefully starts to run again. Constantly tripping but they are moving again. She neighs again in pain as the blood runs down her front legs. Her head is thrown backwards when she almost falls again. She runs on and on until Blood has no idea how long they have been running and where they are. Then finally she falls down to the ground with Blood on her back. He jumps off to prevent getting caught under the horse’s body.

The mist appears again. Slowly she changes back into her normal form. " Oh my god!" Blood looks at her white face and then looks down. Her whole chest is covered with blood. A deep wound shows from her shoulder to her waist. She makes no sound but looks at him with scared eyes. Blood looks back and is lost in her pain. For one moment they forget where they are when they look at eachother. Very soft she starts to whisper. " I..am..sorry." Her face shows her pain when she closes her eyes. Blood quickly takes off his cloak and covers her with it. "It will be alright, i promise!" She looks into his eyes and sees the warmth and the resoluteness. Then she sees something more and she is shocked. He closes his eyes. His hands touch her chest and the blood runs through his fingers until they are covered with it. Soft warm colors surround him. Pure energy fills up the air. White sparks go up in the air and then finally he finds what he was looking for. He opens his eyes and his blue eyes are empty. He looks at the wound and sees what he has to do.

Carefully he starts to clear up the blood until the wound is clean. He repairs nerves. Connects soft tissue and very slowly the wound starts to close. The sweat runs down his face as he concentrates more. Hours pass and still he is healing her. Shaye sighs and finally relaxes in the warm light of his magic. The wound is closed. Blood carefully runs his fingertips over the scar until it slowly disappears. Finally it is done. He holds himself when he starts to shiver after he absorbed her pain. He closes his eyes and let’s her pain come out. Then a soft hand touches his shoulder and pulls him down. He lies down next to Shaye. His head on her shoulder. He still shivers but she holds him in her arms until he relaxes. " Rest my sweet friend. We are save here." He sighs and closes his eyes. He holds her too and they both fall a sleep under the bright stars that watch over them.
