First Appearance: Hulk #212
The Story: Frank Schlichting in MCP#74, we learn that his mother's common law husband, McAvey, killed her and Amy, Frank's sister.(Captain George Stacy was the cop on the scene)This lead Frank into a life of crime. In HULK#212, he was hired by the Corporation to kill JIm Wilson. Justin Hammer gave Frank his Adamantium coils & bullet-proof costume. He also participated in the big Corporation fight in CAP#228. He next appeared, I believe, in CAPANNUAL#5, very briefly. Justin Hammer then hired him in IRON MAN#127, where he was one of the many criminals in Hammer's private army. In POWER MAN/IRON FIST#66, he first teamed with Sabretooth, a partnership which resumed in #84. He was then hired by Viper in CAP#281-3, where he fought the new Nomad(Jack Monroe). He was also part of the big crowd(he loves crowds) in Marvel 2in1#96, when EVERY villain in the MU tried to kill the Thing while he was in the hospital. In CAP#310-1, the Serpent Society asked him to join, he didn't want to, and tried to betray them. They beat him up, and Scourge then tried to assassinate him in the hospital. Cap saed him both times, which didn't make him look very good. Then came MCP#74, in which he hunted down McAvey, but decided not to kill him, which is why so many of us think of him as a hero. In MCP#86-92, he was hired to kill the Beast but ended up helping him defeat the Were-Borgs with the help of the Red Ghost's Super-Apes.
