Electro

First Appeance: Amazing Spider-man #9
The Story: The man who would be Electro is Maxwell Dillion who was repairing a downed powerline, in the middle of a thunderstorm, when he is struck by lightning. Somehow, instead of becoming barbeque, Dillon gained super-powers. Using his newfound electrical powers for crime, Dillion adopts the name Electro, and prehaps the ugliest costume in the Spidr-verse. This led to his first encounter, and subsequent defeat at the hands of Spider-Man. Soon after, Electro fought Daredevil. In an attempt to gain revenge on Spider-Man, Electro joined the original Sinister Six. The joining of the S.6 is typical of Electro's career. Electro joins almost every criminal team that comes down the pike. He's a good team player. Electro has probably the greatest variety of powers of any spider-villain, and I think he knows it. He typically allows his own overconfidence in his powers to be his undoing. Most recently, Electro reorginized an expanded version of the S. 6, the Sinister Seven, to hunt down the mysterious Kaine, who had killed Dr. Octopus, & the Grimhunter, & had tried to kill Electro and Mysterio.
