BALM OF GILEAD

BASIL
Use:

while you announce your desire.
You can also sprinkle a little
on your person. Can be mixed with
other herbs for protection and love
BAY LAUREL
Use:Leaves and Wood
Used for:Divination, Protection, Purification, Justice and sleep/dreams

hang up at the highest point in the
home for protection or burn and let the
smoke hit the four corners of a room for
purifying and cleansing of negative energies.
Place in a dream pillow for safe sound sleep

BENZOIN

Burn for success in intellectual matters.
To use:Burn crushed and powdered leaves for

BERGAMOT

To use:Use the oil of this herb in attracting

BETONY

To use:
Carry a sachet for protection and/or
scatter at the four corners of a room
in the house. Burn and let the smoke
cover you for purification. Carry with
you in an amulet for love advances. Burn
for banishing disharmony in a relationship.
BIRCH
Use:Wood
Used for:Protection, Purification
To use:Sacred tree of the Celts. Use the wood
for making wands and other magick tools.
Also can be mixed with other herbs for a
peaceful sleep.
BISTORT ~
Use:The whole Herb
Used for:Clairvoyance, Fertility
To use:Carry as a sachet for fertility and
conception. Added as a booster with
other herbs for divination.
Borage
~
Use: A low lying plant, fuzzy, with purple flowers.
Used for:Use it in spells concerning Courage
To use:. A tea of Borage can be used to heighten psychic powers. Worn it will protect one when walking outdoors... why I don't know but it's said to. It is attuned to Jupiter, the element of Air, and used in magick for courage, and psychic powers.
Broom ~
Description: Unknown a shrub native to Scotland generally not found in the states.
Used for:used as such to clear away magickal ground
To use: Broom combined with Agrimony and some roses can help to find others of the old ways. It is primarily used for purification. To raise the winds, one needs to through the broom into the air while invoking the spirits of the air, preferably on a mountain top or a high hill. Broom was used to increase psychic powers, but for such a reason it is better to carry it than the ingest it (lest one wish to then go by the directions above no exceptions). An infusion of broom water will clear it of any evil spirits. Traditionally broom is associated with the planet Mars, the element of air, and has been used for purification, protection, to increase wind, and for divination.

Rinse with a root decoction for
ridding oneself of a gloomy feeling
