Brief Description (physical appearance & personality): Silicon-based hermaphroditic shapeshifter. Most commonly assumes human male form with raven-black hair and eyes of absolute black. Comes from a society of Shapeshifters with an assumed philosophy very similar to (in our terms) Zen Buddhism. Manipulation of the external world through absolute control of self is a basic assumption in philosophy among "his" people, and loss of control both fascinates and revolts "him". Is immensely astonished at the fact of natural death among organic life-forms. A very--even for his race--tactile personality, which for humans could border on perversion.

Special Abilities and/or Channelling Strengths: Channels both saidin and saidar, about very weak in both. Can learn to channel each independently, but has not yet. Very balanced in all elements with slightly greater potential growth in Fire and Earth through saidin, and Air and Water through saidar. Moderate Spirit potential through both. NO skill with manipulating weapons or any human tools for that matter, although a decent hand-to-hand fighter. Great knowledge (mostly instinctive) of Silicate chemistry, but little exposure to human computers. Shapeshifter, with very intricate control over chemical structure in his body; limited by mass, but can absorb and/or dispose of moderate quantities of matter. Shapes limited to his knowledge and exterity. Amazing technical capacity for sculpture, although not formally trained.

History:
"Born" in a nearby star system among a species of silicon-based shapeshifters. Once the ability to channel was detected in him, he was exiled from his home. His journey through space was accomplished by forming into an air-tight sphere. Has spent the last 10 years watching and studying local life--discovered a predominant, and more importantly sentient, life form four years ago. Has since spent his time trying to camouflage himself, and in the interim picked up the name "Kitsune," which turned out to be the name of a crafty shapeshifting spirit of ancient local mythos. Discovered the Purple Tower as a center of human creative development, and more over as one of great acceptance and very low profile.
