About 5'7", chestnut-haired with hazel eyes, slightly plump. Marisa's shy, but eager to learn, and usually eager to please. She sometimes finds it hard to make friends because she likes to be sure they will last for a long time, but when she does find real friends, she keeps them for a long, long time.

History:
Not much excitement... born in a small second-floor apartment in Tear, which yet has prejudice about channeling, went to the Tar Valon Tower, then realized she would rather go back to Tear and face her parents and friends than stay in the Tower. She was told about the Purple Tower-or rather, hinted about, and she went in the usual search for the arts school.
