Shanna spent the first few years of her life in a nearby Ranger camp. She discovered she had a knack for fighting and had an interest in magic. She soon left the camp in search of a Mage to help her learn about magic. After finding a mage willing to apprentice her, she began to study the arts of mage magic. She also continued to study her fighting skills. Not long after she began her studies, she received word that a friend was in trouble and needed her help. She followed the trail she was given to no avail. She was so far from where she was studying and in need of money, she began her travels to seek adventure and help when she could.
