The Second Legion was started in August 1998. After a slow start (trans: there were 2 of us hanging around wondering if anyone would show up for about a month), we got a regular roleplaying group underway. We've since grown to around a dozen regulars, and are always on the lookout for new blood. Our regular games are Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, Shadowrun, World Of Darkness, Sla Industries, plus Netrunner CCG and RoboRally boardgame. We will play anything anyone wants to run, a number of our number play a selection of the trading card games, and several have an interest in getting into live roleplay.
The original Legion games club met at Hurdsfield Community Centre every Tuesday from maybe 1992 till 1995, and had around 20 people playing rolepaying, wargaming and card games all under one roof under the auspices of Mark McGee, who was last seen running websites for and plugging Conspiracy X and Legend of the Five Rings roleplaying games.
