I picked up Fighting Fantasy and my first Citadel miniatures when I was about 10-11ish. Played Warhammer 2nd edition upwards, WH40k since it was first released, Magic: the Gathering for several years before I flogged everything but a couple of decks, Netrunner and Mythos CCGs since they came out (I'm part of the Netrunner players organisation ), and I play Paranoia and Shadowrun whenever possible.

I was part of the first incarnation of Legion from the start (Macclesfield's other wargames club) , then chair of the Hull Uni Wargames And Role-Play Society for two years, and started the Second Legion on Wednesdays a year ago. We've just started a wargames section on Friday nights, and I'm out for world domination within the year.

I'm mainly a Workshopoholic, with Eldar, Imperial Guard, Marine, Chaos Marine, Ork, Chaos (warrior, beastmen and demon), Goblin and Wood Elf armies, plus Wood Elf and Chaos Bloodbowl teams, and an extensive Escher gang, and I've got cards from far too many CCGs, but I'll try and play anything. Unfortunately, I'm also far too disorganised to have more than a fraction of my armies painted.

By trade I'm a software engineer, and listen to as many loud bands as I can. Oh, and my girlfriend says I'm very very sad. In my defence, at least I'm not into Star Trek.
