So you want to know a little bit more, eh?

Not that I can really blame you.  Mylia is an interesting
person to get to know.

Who am I?

I'm your tour guide through this realm.

My name?

You can call me Anthos.  I'm a member of the Crimson Guard.

The real name of the person that created Mylia is a woman named Debi.  However, more people call her Mylia than call her Debi.  That's how most people know her.  She always  tends to introduce herself as Mylia when people first meet her.  She prefers the name Mylia anyway. (She has also been called "Throbbing Mattress Kitten" but we won't go into that here.) She does have other names, though.  Russ calls her Blossom, Callista calls her sis, and likewise Mylia calls Calli sis.  Boreal/Labrynth calls her sis, Stormcrow calls her sweetheart and ^Memnoch^calls her baby. She has the temper that all red heads are known for, and sometimes has a mouth guaranteed to make a sailor (or a Rennie) blush. She is very forthright with her views and opinions and heavens and hells help the person that tries to argue with her or condemn her for something she believes strongly in.

She is a practicing Wiccan or Witch, whatever you feel more comfortable calling it, and is very attuned to life around her.  She loves animals and is very vocal if she sees someone mistreating an animal of any kind.  She is very dedicated to her beliefs and has gotten into several fights with people over what she believes in.  And like the character she plays, she is always a staunch defender of the under-dog, or something she believes strongly in.  She also is fascinated by Shamanism and reads and absorbs anything she can find on the subject.

She describes herself as a non-conformist and is very much a free spirit.  She believes very much in freedom of expression.  She tends to be very strong-willed and anyone who knows her can attest to how dangerous she can be when someone tries to staunch her will or tries to make her fit into a box of "correct" behavior.

She has no use for most people as she thinks that most people are sheep or just a waste of breathing space.  She has her reasons for this.  She's been played by too many people and been hurt by too many more to really give a damn about most of humanity.  She's a nice person, but you have to earn your way into her life and trust.  She picks her friends carefully, and her enemies even more carefully.  She's learned that trusting people gets you hurt badly.  While it's hard to get on her good side, people have found that it's relatively easy to get on her bad side. She hates cruelty or predjudice of any type and fights it whenever she sees it happening.  She's very protective of animals of all types and totally abhors hunting for anything but food.  She hates trophy killers with a passion.

An avid roleplayer, she has played the character of Mylia for six years, both on-line and in off-line games.  She is currently involved in two or three table-top roleplaying games and participates in the Renaissance Festival where she lives.

Mylia will willingly describe herself as being a gothic person if asked:

"I'm old-school Gothic.  From the time when people really understood what it meant to be Goth.  We appreciated the art, the culture, the clothing of the gothic era in history.  Sure some of us dressed up and pretended to be vampires, hell we ARE role-players; but we always knew where the line between reality and insanity was.  And we most certainly didn't blame our actions on role-playing games.  We weren't like this new generation of kitty-goths that have cropped up everywhere.  We used common sense in our play.  We didn't think we were really vampires or killers or anything like that.  We don't mope about how life hates us and how we yearn for death.  Things like that make no sense to us old-school gothic artists.  And that's what being true gothic was, it was about freedom of expression and art, whether it was painting or writing.  Old school goths stuck together and helped each other out.  A lot of these newbies care only about themselves and what life can do for them.  They give the goth lifestyle a bad name. You know what we call them?  We call them reality-impaired, kitty-goths, or Mansonites. These people claiming to be gothic today have no soul.  They're like sheep; wandering wherever the current fad takes them."

Mylia is a writer of fiction and poetry.  Her usual genre of fiction writing focuses on the
supernatural.  She likes to let her imagination run wild and create a whole world on paper.
A place where you can go and use your imagination for awhile.  She doesn't always know
what she is going to write about until she sees it all written down on paper.  She'll start out
with a clear-cut idea and know exactly where she wants it to go---and then the story goes
someplace entirely different.

Mylia spends a lot of time constructing web pages both for herself and for her friends who want/need web pages.  She sees this as a way to express herself by creating something everyone can see.  She is always working and maintaining one web sight or another.  Most of
the sights she constructs are for her friends who are into doing roleplaying of all types.  She likes being able to create in this genre of art.  It's a new era in creativity and she likes being right in the middle of it.  She has yet to charge anyone to make a web sight.  All of the ones she
has done she has done for free because she likes doing them.  If you would like her to put   together a sight for you, follow the e-mail link at the bottom and tell her what you want.  She'll  send you her guidelines back so you know what info she will need for you.  (BTW, even though
I said she doesn't charge for her work or time, sometimes donations of whatever are always appreciated.  Don't tell her I told you.)
