ROLE PLAYING GAMES REVIEW
AMBER-DICELESS ROLE PLAYING GAME
This game is based on Roger Zelazny's famous book series AMBER.
Characters take the Role of the children of the book's heroes.
Pros : If you ever wanted to play immortal powerful characters this is
your chance.
Cons : Great lack of internal logic but that is mainly because the books
themselves lack it. Also, if the game is played right the characters can
rarely hope to be more than pawns for powerful NPC's(non player characters)
or worse - the sentient symbols of law and chaos : THE PATTERN & THE LOGRUS.

WEREWOLF-THE APOCALYPSE (SECOND EDITION)
Every role-player's dream come true : you get to play a werewolf!
Background : Players are werewolves trying to save the world from the corrupting influence of the WYRM.
They struggle against forces trying to pollute the earth and eventually destroy it.
Pros : Playing a werewolf is always fun. The game system is good and allows for reasonable suspense of disbelief.
Beautiful yet haunting art work. Hardcover.
Cons : Werewolves as eco-warriors? come on...
The fight is bound to be lost no matter what characters do(THE APOCALYPSE).

CASTLE FALKENSTEIN
The game is set in an alternate world in the Victorian era.
Play is usually centered in Europe(or in this alternate reality :New Europa).
The difference between our world and this one lies in the fact that Magick
and Faerie exist(these are not typos, that's how the book spells them).
Players can take the role of fairies, sorcerers, spys, dwarfs, mad scientists,
noblemen/women ect. (sky's the limit as long as the GM approves - hey, you can even play a dragon).
Antagonists : The Unseelie (evil Faerie) & Bismark (+his militant hordes).
Pros : Lovely concept.
Cons : Game Mechanics are lousy - instead of dice player use cards - which often causes absurd results.
Magick system is narrow and ill explained. Softcover version of the book comes apart easily.
