Chapter 29

It was a bad position for Cammy to be in. A Shadowloo guard aimed his FAMAS assault rifle at her, and one of the four lords of Shadowloo was standing behind him. In one of the cells, a young girl was screaming amidst the laughing of other agents.
"Sir, what do you want to do with her?"
"Let me think……."
Suddenly, Dan grabbed the agent's head, and kicked him hard in the face, causing him to not only drop the FAMAS, but stagger back towards Cammy, who grabbed his waist, and suplexed him on the hard stone floor. As Cammy sprang to her feet, the man's legs fell to the floor, as he lay unconscious and paralyzed.
Cammy looked at astonishment at Dan, then simply smiled. "I guess I must be losing my sex appeal."
"It wouldn't have worked on him anyway," Dan said picking up the dropped FAMAS, "He was gay."
The smile stayed on Cammy, but her eyes widened like two saucers in surprise.
A solitary scream erupting from the cell the other two guards entered brought her back to her senses as she Cannon drilled the door down.
What she saw shocked her. The two guards were almost starting, one of them unzipping his pants while the other held a Japanese school girl down, trying to rip her blouse and skirt off. On the girl's tear-stained face, several bruises were evident, as well as a cut above her eye where she had been punched.
Rage seethed in Cammy. She brought out the CZ 75 and fired a bullet directly into the soldier who's flies were down. It hit him squarely in the groin. The man folded like an origami figure, screaming in pain as the blood seeped into his hands.
Immediately, Cammy leapt up and grabbed the other man's head. She twisted it sharply, breaking his neck, and threw him hard against the wall.
Her teeth clenched, she took two steps towards the injured man and aimed her gun at his head.
"No…please…," the agent pleaded in pain, "I was just trying to have some fu…"
He didn't finish. Flashbacks of Cammy's own rape, at the hands of the scientist and Vega, erupted inside her head, and she fired. She showed no emotion as several droplets of blood sprayed across her face.
After a pause as she looked at the dead man, she ran to Sakura's side and held her in her arms, trying her best to comfort her from what had just happened to her. Both of them had tears in their eyes.

Meanwhile, Dan opened the door to Chun Li's cell, holding the FAMAS rifle.
Chun Li was at the small hole to the next cell, tears in her eyes. No doubt she saw what was going on with Sakura. Behind her, Sagat sat on the stone bed, seemingly unmoving.
"Come on, I'm here to get you out."
Chun Li turned her head and looked at Dan. She suddenly ran towards him and pushed him against the wall.
"What do you mean, you're here to get us out?"
"I….I'm defecting. What do you think?"
"You expect me to believe you after all you've done? You took my boyfriend from me, you command a group of savages. Did you happen to notice what happened to that poor girl next door?!!"
"Y….yeah, but…."
"How do I know you're not here to kill us, you lying bastard!!"
Chun Li punched the wall near Dan's head. At that moment, Cammy appeared, holding Sakura in her arms.
"Chun Li," she said, "Let go of him. We need someone who knows the inside of this place."
Chun Li stared hard at Dan, then dropped him.
Dan dusted himself off. "You think I'm actually part of all that's been going on here? The only reason I joined was to get my revenge on him," he said, pointing at Sagat, "I'm not about to be responsible for the death of billions of innocent people, do you think I'm out of my fucking mind?!"
Chun Li was still unconvinced. Dan had still been present when they destroyed the White House. However, now was not the time to be arguing about this. They had to escape, and Dan was the only one who knew the layout of the base. Plus, they also had a very weakened girl, namely Sakura.
"Don't think for one moment that I will trust you." She said quietly to Dan.
"Neither will I trust him," Dan replied, meaning Sagat, who was now transferring Sakura in his arms from Cammy, "But then again, I don't exactly have a choice here, do I."
"You'd better not be lying about your defection."
"Would I lie to a beautiful lady?" Dan said with a smile.
Chun Li just stood there, completely unconvinced as Dan walked out. She followed him and stepped out into the corridor.
Cammy stood beside her and held out her gun, handle first. "Here, you'll need this."
"But what about you?"
"I've got my own weapon around the corner. Take it."
After a pause, Chun Li took the CZ 75 and span it around her finger so that it was upside down, then flipped it so that it was held properly. Cammy grabbed her modified FAMAS and followed Dan, Sagat holding Sakura in his arms behind her, and Chun Li guarding the rear.

The two dozen Eagles continued their way towards the target. Guile led the first Eagle, Charlie his wingman.
"Eagle team Strike Leader, time to target: seven minutes. Maintain airspeed four-five-zero knots."

In the control room, the radar screen blipped as several red dots appeared. Bison sat in his throne, unmoving.
"Commander Bison! I'm picking up enemy signatures bearing on us."
"The fools. Battle Stations! Launch all fighters and prepare the VX missiles."
"Yes sir. Preparation time is ten minutes. Our MIGS and Hind-Ds are taking off."

Three minutes to go.
Guile concentrated on the view ahead, a sea of green blazing downwards below him.
"Increase speed to five-zero-zero knots."
Suddenly, Charlie voice shouted into Guile's ear.
"Guile! I'm picking up several dozen fighters coming straight towards us!"
A visual sighting in front of him confirmed Charlie's warning.
"Shit! Evasive Maneuvers, all fighters Evasive Maneuvers!"
The Eagles parted as several cannon rounds from the Shadowloo MIGS fired onto them. In the distance Shadowloo Hind-Ds fired their chain guns and AMRAAMS.
The aerial battle commenced.

The party walked through several corridors, trying to figure out where to go. Dan led them to several rooms where they could find ammunition, but so far, nothing turned up. They needed to hurry, they heard the warning of the airstrike earlier on. Even now, the explosions of the battle outside could be heard.
Cammy pointed the FAMAS in several directions as they stalked around the temple. Around them, several Aztec paintings and sculptures carved into the walls depicted ominous images, of sacrifices, death, gods such as Quezacoatl, and other Aztec symbols. However, some of the images had been vandalised by Shadowloo agents, adding their own 'creative' drawings to the symbols.
"Oh my, I didn't think Quezacoatl had one that big," mused Chun Li
Cammy saw two Aztec statues that had been placed into a rather kinky position.
"How disgusting. No-one could get into that position."
"Course you can. Want me to show you?" Dan asked with a smile.
"You touch me, you're dead."
The expression in Cammy's face showed that she was very serious. Dan didn't speak again.
They continued on. They soon reached a T-Junction, with a corridor down the left hand side, and one straight ahead.
"That way's where the slaves are kept. We need to get them out of here."
Suddenly, through his only eye, Sagat thought he saw Adon running down the corridor. He had a score to settle with his former student.
"I'll go down there. You just find a way to destroy this place."
Sagat laid Sakura down, and started to follow Adon.
"Sagat, wait!" Chun Li called out, but Sagat had already disappeared.

Sagat ran, trying to find Adon, when he suddenly slowed down at the sight before him.
Around him, several cell doors were locked tight. They were the cells for the slaves, and when they noticed that Sagat had arrived, they immediately reached their hands through the bars, pleading with Sagat to help them.
Suddenly, Adon appeared. Sagat stood tall, and prepared himself. Adon stood laughing, in anticipation for the fight.
"Hello, my student. So, the jaguar becomes nothing more than a hyena."
"And you're just an old tiger, teacher."
Adon launched a Jaguar kick towards Sagat, and slammed his heel into Sagat's chest. Sagat staggered back from the force, but managed to regain his composure.
The teacher and the student readied themselves for a cat fight. The Tiger versus the Jaguar.
