Pokèmon

Pokèmon is now being shown on Channel 10's Cheez TV at 8:00 AM Monday to Thursday. This Animè is based on the Gameboy games of the same name.

Ash is the main character, and is given a Pokèmon by Professor Oak who is a Pokèmon collector and healer. Ash chooses Pikachu, a mouse-like Pokèmon with the power of electricity. Professor Oak also gives a Pokèmon to his grandson, Gary (who also happens to be the rival of Ash).

Ash and Gary must become ultimate Pokèmon trainers and enter the Pokèmon League. To do this they must collect and train Pokèmon and also defeat the leaders of Pokèmon Gyms to gain Badges.

Ash teams up with Brock, the leader of Viridian City Gym, and Misty, the leader of the Cerulean City Gym.

They must try and beat Gary, but they must also challenge Team Rocket, a group of evil Pokèmon trainers. Team Rocket consist of Jesse, James and Meowth. They appear from time to time and cause trouble. Their aim is to capture Pikachu. But they are rarely successful.
