Amelia had abandoned Zel and the others two days ago. They had offered to escort her but she had refused. She wanted time alone with her thoughts. She had ever considered herself as justice paladin but she was changed. She remembered when Zel asked her where was the paladin and her answer. The question was normal. The answer no! Xelloss betrayed them and she wasn't raged.
That was the first problem.
The second more important problem was: Why did she love a mazoku, for hell?!
She had ever loved Zel; he seemed so beautiful, strong and cool. He was kind with her, protecting her but she was only a friend for him. Then Xelloss was arrived. He was different from Zel as the day from the night. Only� Xelloss was the night. He was ever happy, laughing, mysterious� charming� dangerous.
When Lina advised them he was a mazoku she was astonished but she was far more astonished when she discovered her feelings for him wasn't changed.
"I've a problem!"
"What's problem Amelia-chan?" She looked up, to see the cause of her problems naturally:
"Xelloss, what are you doing here? Lina said you have to work in this period."
"Sore wa himitsu des and you haven't answered to my question" with his usually smile.
"I don't really know because I asked you but are you sure you want I answer?" She added with a wicked smile. Xelloss nodded.
Amelia with an angelic smile: "Sore wa himitsu des". Xelloss phase out and phased in front to her. She cringed, asking to herself if she had exaggerated. She forgot too often he was a mazoku; as she finished that thought he started to laugh: "Amelia, a sweet, innocent justice paladin as you wouldn't must imitate a demon as me."
She smiled again and restarted to walking. Xelloss followed her. I'm a lucky girl, I've any doubt now. I didn't want to home with my friend to think alone about him and I meet him on my way. Stop to observed him, Amelia. You already know he's very cute. He's a mazoku and you are a Saylun princess, do you want remember that.
She shook her head. I don't want know the face of my father if I say him I've fallen in love with a mazoku. I remember his look when I said him I loved Zel. He considered that an innocent unharmful crush but this! Xelloss is a mazoku not a poor cursed stone-boy.

"Give me your money or you'll die!"
Amelia woke up from her thoughts and saw not very distant from her a group of bandits to menace a family on a cart full of fruits.
"Please, I don't have any money, my only riches are here!"
Amelia levitate to a tree near the bunch of villain and shouted:
"Stealing poor farmers is against the justice principles! Put away the weapons and go away or I'll punish you in name of the justice!"
The bandit boss answered: "Listen, little girl, these are not your affairs! Come back to home playing with the dolls."
Amelia became red for the fury and jumped from the tree to the face of the boss!!! A person clapped from a tree. The other bandits attacked her but in a moment were toasted a cause of her fireball and flare arrow;
after she went near the cart: "All Ok! Don't worry, the villains are defeated and the justice has triumphed!"
The man looked her and pleaded: "Please, you have strong magic powers! Save our village! A mage with some demons forced us to abandon our homes or to die! Many people are dead! Only you can help us!"
I must arrive to home earliest, my father will be very worried just now but can I abandon innocent persons? She shook her head.
The farmer seemed despaired: "I plead you! We can pay you if you help us".
She looked him: No, I don't want any reward for my aid, give me the directions for your village and if I can help you, I will help you!" He obliged and ran away with the cart.
Xelloss appeared next to her: "My praises for the jump! It was very good! Do you feel better now you've been able to play your part?"
Amelia pouted and didn't answer but asked: "Xelloss, do you know something about this question?"
"Yes but I'll tell you only if you answer to my question!"
"Well, I don't feel better. Now, what do you know?"
"Sore wa himitsu des!" He smiled.
She kicked and boxed him and went towards the village but she wasn't able to help smiling, he's ever the same!
