~ The Emperor's Campaign

Entry 8
Jerith has not returned. My heart aches, and I lay in bed at
night wondering what I did wrong. Perhaps it was too fast,
but I thought we both felt the same thing...
Martyrian is a very good leader, and I admire the way he has
brought his people together. They want for nothing, and lead
good lives. I wish others could see this, and understand.
My brother continues to think me a traitor, as much as I try
to get him to understand. Are not Tyrians supposed to judge
everyone fairly, without letting personal feelings interfere?
Father said we must save Martyrian, and that is what I will do,
I would do no less for R'zan.
Aramax arrived today, and he listened carefully to why I
have chosen this path. He understands I think, but I believe
he also wants me here to spy on Martyrian. I can not do that.
At least he believes in me, and isn't calling me a traitor, that's
a start. It's good to have him around, it almost seems like home.
We will begin travelling towards Dark Mountain, to retrieve
one, possibly two of the relics. It will be a difficult battle, but
one I think we can win, if we're careful. We will have to rely
on the Drow to get us in, but I am confident that he will not
betray us. He wants this as much as we do I think.
