Magnus Paingiver

Confirmed Kills: 157 (so far) in only three years.

Comments: One of my favorite methods of killing characters is with enchanted weapons. I wait until their alignment has changed, without telling them, then say they happen upon a weapon that can only be used by characters of their previous alignment. When they pick it up, they are subjected to 10d20 points of damage, and usually killed. Either that, or the main bad guy has cast a protection spell upon his weapon! BWAH HA HA HA HA! They take the same amount of damage and I don't have to bother with waiting till they've changed alignment. I'm also in favor of locking people up, (about three a session), and mutilation. I had gotten sick of my friend's Elven Ninja insulting the villains, whether he was free or locked up, without fear of retribution. So the next time he did it, without warning, I cut out his tongue, and pocketed it. He threw a sharp rock at the villain, who promptly came back and severed his genitalia. In another instance, I tricked a paladin into a sleeping encounter with a succubi, who promptly led him into a midnight orgy of the flesh, and caused him to lose his paladin hood. Another character has been killed so many times, that his constitution started out at eighteen, and ended up, after all the resurrections, at six.

The Crippler

Confirmed kills: Two. Before you start blasting me for having so few kills, be warned that I am a relatively new DM.

Comments:. Well, since there's only two kills to speak of, let's go into the gory details of each of them.
The first was a female human cleric named Shade. Shade was going through the catacombs of a castle when her party encountered some undead creatures with a petrifying touch (it's not listed anywhere, I made that one up). Anyway, she was the only member of her party to be surprised (no Infravision, etc.) and was subsequently touched in the face and turned to stone. That felt good.
Dead PC number two was a male fighter by the name of Craig McVale. I was playing in a different, slightly larger party and got into a situation where each member of the group was pitted (in an arena) with an evil clone of themselves. Somehow, the other party members survived, but Craig was tripped by his evil clone, the clone took Craig's magical axe and chopped off the real Craig's head.
I have plans to rack up a ton more dead PC's as I expand into other roleplaying games.

Craig Dur, Master of the Necropian Abyss

Confirmed kills: This is no longer a constant. (see below) However, it can be counted around 40+

Stomping Grounds: The world of Serliak, my own creation.

Comments: Many people believe that killing a player will teach them a lesson, but I believe that you should go one step further. I have killed players, then had the NPC clerics raise them from the dead. They are immediately slain again to the hideous laughter of the rival group. This process is repeated until the players Con scores are 0. At this point the very existence of their souls ceases to exist. Also, there is a city in my world called Faydra. Many of my players erroneously believe that they can do what they want to this city and get away with it. One ended up hanging from his ankles from the tower until he died from dehydration. Another, (lucky twerp), has managed to escape with some travelling wizards, but he is still being pursued.<grin> My favorite idiot tried to lead an orcish invasion against the city. It was crushed and, although she managed to escape at first, some Faydran troops caught up with her and used the aforementioned method to deal with her. She was taken by the Lord of the Underworld before complete destruction however. I love using PC souls against the party.

Amaryth

Confirmed kills: 8 kills so far

Comments: Riddles, intrigue, and my altruistic behavior are my allies against the avarice and stupidity of my players.  I don’t have to kill them.....they kill themselves.  I believe my evil side needs a little more love so that I can be "sneakier" without out-right violence on my part. I may seem to be a delicate flower on the outside but my insides are not as sweet.

Michael, DM from Hell

Confirmed kills: At least 75, probably more

Comments: This DM was amazing. He was kinda fun. He'd give us all this really spiffy equipment, magnificent wishes, etc. Then he'd kill us. Like that. I once had the misfortune to find a book in a dragon's hoard (well, it's stomach, actually). I touched it, and my character exploded. No save. No forewarning.  Just *BOOM!*. And we always came back for more. No matter what the foe: dragons, familiar-stealing liches, beholder-killing orcs (hell, *I* was the beholder!), or even other PCs, we'd die. I still miss him. ;)

BOOM BOOM BLOOD RUNNER

Confirmed kills: 269

Comments:  I am second only to VGreen. Others say they have not counted or there are to many to count. HAH!I don't believe you. Give me a number end maybe I will respect you. My best kill up to date is: A party of 7 were in a blink town. There were only 3 inns to choose. The angels wing. Deaths doorstep. And The slayers hall. Angels Wing only had 2 rooms at 100g each. Slayers Hall had 1 room at 1g. But deaths doorstep had 37 rooms at 1s each. They chose Deaths Doorstep. They felt pretty safe from the looming werewolves outside with 80 foot high walls. During the  middle of the night 200 zombies 15 skeletons and 2 skeleton warriors rose from their graves and started to drag people outside. They attack us and we fought most off and fled to the roof considering someone cast a fireball. 1 person shot a rope arrow and they proceeded to cross to another building. 4 of them fell and with them not knowing a vampire(You don't need to anything else about him. HEHEHE!) cast a spell and the minatare started to pull everyone down took them into the burning building. With 2 minutes left before it fell a fight ensued with following results: A decapitated minature, a paladin turned to a vamp then slayed, a psionicist dwarf with a massive headache then an exploding body ,a ninja disembowelled limb from limb, a thief eaten by a zombie, and the remaining 2 burned to death with a graphic description too long to type(It took me 10 minutes to tell them)and an escaped vampire.

 Kaptn. Kayos

Confirmed kills: 34

Comments: Killing P.C.'s is fun but torture is infinitely more amusing!

Gunthar Bell

Confirmed kills: 50

Comments: I have killed many players in my fifteen year long career, and I can not remember most. (Only the sweetest kills :) I would guess a kill count of fifty. I am aware that this is not that many, but my goal is not to kill them, my aim is to make them feel the excruciating pain as well as the tortures characters. I must say that the greatest achievement is not to make the characters die, it is to make them beg for death, or even better, kill themselves. I didn’t think it was possible to have a player make his character commit suicide, but it can be done, and I am trying in every session to make my players cry. To make them face themselves as a creature they despise, killing themselves and to realize that their ideals are all lies. I really love myself when I do that.

"When the bell tolls, it is your life I crave"

Rancor Zauberer, the soul catcher

Confirmed kills: 46 most of my parties last through at least 2 sessions

Comments: I must applaud one of my most generous players for proving that there are more than 20 ways to die of cuts and decapitations.

Proving since 1996 that tabaxi are the most deadly and dangerous monster in the good book.

I am known as the reaper, the Lord of chaos and most lovingly Father of Satan.

Confirmed kills: over 200 pcs. 1 world

I am he who sits in the shadows, reaver of souls all be warned who enter my realm.

Comments: During my 12 years of torturing those foolish enough to travel into the recess of my twisted mind. I have scared the souls of brave men and women. by any means my twisted mind can come up with. some live to tell the tell and send out A warning to others who then in shear confidence enter my realm only to leave a shattered reflection of there former selves. only to return to reclaim there souls that I have taken from them.

Scav

Confirmed kills: 78 (of which 40 were the same player)

Comments: Nasty Moment:
The Player had to fight there way though a huge group of Sewers under the City, fighting All these Fire based Creatures, Finally they reach a Huge room with a huge fire pit in the centre off against one wall is a blue glowing door and round the Pit there are lots of Cultists dressed in BLUE Chanting, In true Player Style the Party Charge them and processed after a fight to hack them down (each priest did a version of Vampiric touch which drained WATER From the Party not life) Party Lost Two People one Killed when he was Pushed into the Fire pit (which was a link to the elemental plan of Fire) and one killed by the cultists as the last one dies he cries "You have killed us all" and drops a Symbol from the Cult who worship the water elemental. that right you guessed it the party had killed all the cultists who were trying to seal up the link to the plane of fire, doh.

Newman the Black

Confirmed kills: 31 (9 in a collapsing cavern)

Comments: I’ve only been dming for two years and already I’m called newman the black. PCs have been prone to diseases( leprosy tapeworms ) robberies (and left naked bound to a tree) angry gods ( effect drawn from my pissed gods table) and an occasional random death. my personal favourite was a blind unic warrior with one leg and a spastic colon. the player tried to get him killed for the better part of 6 months. he didn’t get another character until hildis the great (now called the hildis the unfortunate)

Auran Darksight

Confirmed Kills: Over 100 (I like to savour the moments of blind faith in the fairness of the DM that all PC's have before they inexplicably die horribly despite all of their best efforts to survive)

Comments: As a Great Master I say unto thee - Learn to hide your true nature from the PC's foolish to come under your power. Never must they suspect that your are in fact plotting to wreak unholy terrors upon them even as they create their characters. Be kind and benevolent to them at first allowing their characters to grow and develop. Let them become attached to them like favoured children. Then slowly, but inexorably draw them into your web of terror. Answer their questions with platitudes whilst wielding the knife behind their back. Turn their friends against them, cast doubt as to the loyalties of their comrades, seed sedition amongst their followers. But always make it appear as though the shadowy hand of an powerful evil NPC is there, working behind the scenes. To finish I shall paraphrase that rule by which all DM's must live - "To err is a PC, but to gain bloody retribution at all cost is a DM"

Darkstar

Confirmed Kills: 30+ lost count

Comments: I once had the players join a poker game, and "forgot" to tell them they were playing with a deck of many things. I once kiled them all off, with "america's" favorite rat, pikachu I ran them threw, "The Wizard of Oz" except only on made it past the scarecrow, and he died when he met the Golem, Errrrr......ehhhhh..........Tin man.

I had them killed by Michael Jakson, Hey, they interupted his video, Thriller, hehe
