A Urdish, the celestial poet

Urdish, or the celestial poet, as he is often referred to, is the second force emanated from life and, like the lady of love, a very popular deity among the romantics and the high levels of society. The priests of Urdish are dedicated to the progress and protection of art, aesthetic and creativity, their mission has also made them into educators and teachers, dedicated to culture and learning. In their role as teachers, they care little about their pupil's social or economic status, as long as he/she shows promise and desire for knowledge.

Their duties may make ignorants believe them to be weak fools, but they also understand that oppression and tyranny breeds ignorance, and they have also been known to take arms and inspire others into rising against all sorts of tyrants and evil rulers. Another of their sacred duties is to bring hope to the poor and joy to the suffering, in times of great need, urdish's followers flock together to support the needy.

Needless to say, the priests of Urdish are in very good terms with the priestesses of beauty and love and the priests of life and knowledge.

Alignment: Any good. But a Lawful Good priest of Urdish is rare to find, since most of them find revolution and living outside the system ... romantic (they are not criminals or fugitives, but while some can't seem to be comfortable without the feeling of oppression, most are indifferent to the law of men, or so they claim)

Minimum Requirements: Wisdom 10, Int 10.

Holy symbol: A feather made of silver or some other precious metal

Required proficiencies: Artistic Ability (Any artistic ability, this is important since the character will be heavily based on this choice)

Weapons and Armor allowed: The priests of Urdish cannot use any armor heavier than chain mail or shields. The weapons they can use are: Short sword, dagger, knife, net, any bow.

Mayor access: All, Charm, Divination, Astral, Creation, Sun.

Minor access: Necromantic, Healing, Wards.

Granted Powers: Priests of Urdish are usually quite eloquent and are able to Rally friends and allies just as a bard would. Due to their greater intuition and insight on life, priests of Urdish cannot be charmed in any way and are very resistant to all other forms of mind control (+3 saving throw bonus). They are also able to judge or appraise things related to their chosen artistic ability (how the singer performed, how good is that sculpture and how much it is worth, etc.).

As a sidenote, many of these priests, especially the young ones who took up poetry, are very skilled in the art of seduction.
