Description
Zanfah is a 66" tall female half elf, her hair is light blonde and his eyes sparkling green, her figure is thin and slender, and has been said (well, at least SHE claims so) to have conquered many men.
She wears a hide armor, but that's under a very colorful (blinding, one might say) garment composed of several bright, and clashing, colors. Over all that, she also wears a purple cape with a golden brooch with a large emerald on it (her mother's gift). Other than that, she carries a harp tied to her back along with a sack.
History
Zanfah was the first and only daughter to a couple of travelling bards, she grew up among bards and shows, learning a little here and a little there. She learned poetry, legends and myths, acting, etc.
Ever since she was little, she proved to be quite independent (up to the point of lacking common sense) and perhaps a little bit wild, and she has several pointless anecdotes to prove it. When she became of age, she left the travelling caravan to see the world on her own.
But the life of a travelling bard did not please her all that much, she wanted to see extraordinary wonders, lost tombs, ancient castles and all those things her stories told about. And for that, she decided to become an adventurer, now all she needs is a party of adventurers to join ("What!?! Face all those dangers on my own?, are you crazy?!?)
Roleplaying Zanfah Windsong
Zanfah is... well, there is no easy way to describe her, she's childish at times, a bit stubborn ("What do you mean it's dangerous?, I can take care of myself"), she gets scared easily and she breaks under little pressure, which means she screams and shakes when faced with a monster (or a rat for that matter).
Still, she knows how to control herself when she has to, and even though she will always walk behind everyone else in a dungeon and she's not very good at fighting, she is very ingenious, and her wits and spells can be an important asset.
Zanfah was made for two purposes, to provide a little comical relief, and to be a useful addition to the party (not useful in a combat sense, as you can see). For the first part, she uses her acting skills (especially her "defenseless girl in danger", the "please, I've always dreamt about it", and other caracterizations, she especially likes to imitate people she doesn't like or that lack sense of humor), her numerous tricks with ropes, baloons, etc, even her bag of tricks can lead to some interesting situations. And for the second objective, she has that identification bard ability (a must for any party), her incredible knowledge of all sort of stories (as a matter of fact, her high wisdom is mostly on legends and such), and her thieving skills.
The harp of charming she uses was given to her by her father, and she hardly ever uses its special ability unless things are getting dangerous (drunk patrons and such) or she needs money, in which case she doesn't mind one bit (she doesn't like stealing, but she prefers that to an empty stomach).
Even though she is a bit cowardly, she will defend her companions should the need arise.
And finally, as far as her artistic abilities go, she is an excellent singer and storyteller, and plays her harp like a true master.
