Entry 7: November 11-Whoah!

Await I shall, for this fateful day, for it can come no sooner to me, and that is no lie. For on that night, the beloved Maple Leafs of Toronto roll into the mighty Beantown to square off against my beloved Bruins. And my friends, I have been invited to the dance, to see our finest in Black and Gold light the lamp more than once against the foes from up north. Two balcony tickets have been bought and I will give you a reason to visit my other page (gasp! Puckfly has two pages?! The Internet hog-'give us back our internet space!!!') for the full run-down. I am putting aside my doom and gloom as this makes me so very happy, and I will return to the dark side soon...Good night everyone and pleasant dreams...If you can't dream about anything then I shall give you something to think about...Who in their right mind would find enough kindness in their soul to buy a mental case such as myself a wonderful gift such as this? Imagine all you can, for this seriously disturbed webmaster would also like to know the answer...perhaps light does reach the darkest corners of our souls, and perhaps heaven is trying to call back one of its own...

Entry 8: Favoritism & Bribes

What is a sign of a true friend? Is it a person that can listen to you all day without saying a peep or is it someone that will stop you before you say something silly and inject a statement when needed? Perhaps both, but should a friend reserve certain jokes for one group while excluding you from that same joke? I am directing this line of thought to you, the viewer...or YOU the person to which this is aimed (and I believe you know who you are).

I will not compromise my position because I am with a certain group of people, since I believe in equality. Equality to me is treating EVERYONE equally, regardless of sex or race or age. If I start spouting out baby talk to a five year old, I'm gonna do the same to a college buddy. If I start bodychecking my fellow male associate because we're all horsing around, I would do the same to a female associate given the same situation. Isn't that fair?

Some think not, and think I should treat them as royalty because of certain procured items. I dare say I would not call myself cold-hearted, but gifts cannot a friend make. In my opinion, gifts are just that, items that one bestows upon friends because either one is very thoughtful or very rich (!) Either case, one should not expect a return, for that could almost be construed as being selfish (I did this for you now you must do this for me-not a good reason for giftgiving).

Confucious, I believe, once wrote, "He who expects to receive nothing shall never be disappointed." Expect nothing from your friends but their support and love, and you shall not be disappointed. Friends are people whose company you cannot do without. Try living without the company of good friends, and you would surely go mad from lonliness...

Entry 9: A little controversy never hurt anyone

Well well well, it seems we have a select few that actually Read my tripe and scribble! And as an added bonus, they've decided to give me constructive criticism on my pages, which I whole heartedly accept. Without further delay I shall relay to you their message...it is as follows: "When did you ype your last rants and raves? I have not looked at it for a long time. I have to ask is that supposed to be about me because if it is I will tell you right know I am sorry if you felt I was bribing you or anything when I got you your b-day present."

I encourage you all to write to me and tell me what you think about my rants. If I gave away some of my secrets then none of this would feel authentic....but then again, whose reality are we really questioning here anyways?!! And just who exactly AM I writing about? All you have to know is this: I am fascinated with the emotions of people around me. If I meet someone that is devoid of all emotion then to me they are nothing more than a shell of a being, nothing more.

To those that think I write about them, I could be. To those that are voyeurs looking in on my life and what's going on around me, I could be writing about you at the same time without you realizing it. We are the same yet different. We all have what we consider unique experiences, yet there are those experiences that are universal across the board and we all share them....so once again, I could be writing about specific people or I could be writing about incidences that have happened and yadda yadda yadda...I'm getting windy over here so I'll stop..Have a day y'all.
