When a slave is "not" yet collared..
the Masters. Mistresses.
and other slaves look at the color of a slaves silks to see her slave status.
Once.. a slave is collared..
the Master which owns that slave
may have the slave in any color silk
that is pleasing to his or her eyes.
and if the Master chooses even naked.
The "collar" then tells everyone the slave is owned
. It is the Masters words and not the color
of the silks that rules the life of a "collared slave". white silks = pure, but not necessarily a virgin... reserved for the protector/Master's pleasure only. red silks = pleasure slave, may be allowed to give pleasure to many, Masters may make their privately owned slaves red silks and let them serve others, again, it is what the Master deems that is law. yellow silks = slaves owned by the tavern.. they work doing the tavern chores and do as the tavern orders them. Yellow silked slaves may or may not provide complete service to a Master, it depends on the Tavern Owner/Owners and what they wish of the slave to do. black silks = unowned, these are not made of silk but of cloth. and is called a "camisk If you are a new slave it is a good idea to wear white silks
until you have been trained to please Masters.
This will give you a chance to concentrate on your studies.
Also if you are new it is advisable
not to jump into a private ownership collar, but if you do take one,
chose a tavern, where you can be trained and protected.
Whatever you do, chose wisely,
a collar is not like a friendship ring or a fun game.
A collar signifies your ownership.
