His alarm clock went off at 5:30am. He knew that he couldn’t reach for the snooze button if he wanted to catch his flight. He didn’t normally take commercial flights, but Sinister thought it would look less obvious.
He finished dressing and went outside to wait for the cab, he had called last night, to come. He figured a cab was much better than one of his fellow Marauders drive him and probably never make it to his plane at all.
The cab came twenty minutes late and Remy had to practically run to catch his flight. He made it. To Remy’s relief he had a first class seat. He sat down and began to look at the pictures of the people that he was supposed to get the information about. Dese people look familiar. He thought. He closed his eyes and tried to think. A couple minutes later he had it. Their pictures had been in the paper numerous times. Suddenly Remy realized why this mission was so important. Dese X-men are powerful. Sinister must want dem out of the way for somet’ing, but what? Remy wondered.
He looked out the window and was startled, he hadn’t realized that they had taken off.
"She your girlfriend," a voice came.
"’Scuse me," Remy said, startled to find that he had been joined by a businessman in the next seat.
"The picture," he replied. "On your lap."
Remy turned his attention to the picture. She was beautiful. She had a figure other women would kill for, the greenest eyes he had ever seen, and auburn hair with a white streak down the middle. "I wish," Remy muttered.
"What?" The man asked.
"I said no, she’s my sister," he answered.
"Oh. Is she available by any chance?"
"She’s married," Remy answered hoping that the man would drop the subject.
He did. Remy continued to go over the rest of the information ‘til the plane landed. He got off the plane, got his single bag of luggage, and caught a cab to the closest hotel to the X-men’s mansion, in Westchester, New York He decided to start his investigation tonight after it got dark.
He left the hotel at eight. He decided to walk the two miles to the x-men residence. He should have rented a car, but he enjoyed walking.
He got there just after dark. Perfect, he thought. He decided to have a little fun and to test to see how advanced their security systems were. He climbed over the fence and waited. Sure enough alarms started going off because they had detected a mutant. His mind detected a telepathic scan and blocked it without Remy even noticing. He climbed back over the fence.
He thought about how he could get those medical records. He could break in, or he could use the computer he brought with him to hack into their database. Breaking in was much more fun but they would be waiting for his return. He decided to walk back to his hotel.
When he got back to his hotel room he set up his lap-top computer. He got the medical records, and the plans for how the security system was set up. Who puts dere security system plans where any amateur hacker could get dem, he thought. He didn’t, however, find the floor plans for the mansion. He thought to himself, tomorrow night I can break in and, find a way in for myself.
