This is a free email service; you send your comments to the list, which then gets distributed to everyone else on the list.

WHY NOT JOIN IAAC? The Internet Amateur Astronomer's Catalogue is a mailing list and web archive for deepsky observers - predominantly northern hemisphere - of all levels. You can subscribe via the Web, post your own observing logs, search observing logs for an individual object, and more.

FOR LESS TRAFFIC, YOU CAN SUBSCRIBE to a manual email service that will notify you when these pages have been updated. The messages will be brief (a few paragraphs) and will be sent approximately once per month. Most notification messages will simply contain a short summary of the new additions with pointers to the updated URLs. This is a guaranteed no-spam list and is maintained by myself.

TO SUBSCRIBE, send an email message to auke@global.co.za with a single line in the body:

subscribe [email protected]

where you replace [email protected] with the email address where you want the notices sent. The subject field in the message will be ignored and can be left empty.

As a result of your subscription message, you will get an acknowledgement message that says that you have been successfully subscribed.

TO UNSUBSCRIBE, send an email message to auke@global.co.za with a single line in the body:

unsubscribe [email protected]

where you replace [email protected] with the email address you wish to unsubscribe. The subject field in the message will be ignored and can be left empty.
