Kirk: How long until we get to pompeii?

Spock: If we continue at our current rate of speed, than we should be there by the end of tomorrow.

Kirk: I'm going to my quarters. Contact me if something arises.


[Kirk's Quarters]

Kirk: Stardate 79.07.22. Today we continue to sail south from Rome to Pompeii, where we will stop for repairs and supplies. Some minor hullwork needs to be done, and a few of the slaves need to be replaced. Some are no longer any good to us, and others have been a bit insubordinate. Some of the slaves have caught diseases from the sea. We are unfamiliar with the disease, but it is a small sickness, and only the slaves have it.
