Affirmation:
I am responsible for my happiness and well-being.
I recognise the direct connection between my inner beliefs and my lacks and difficulties.
I recognise that I contribute to creating all circumstances, situations and events in my life with my thouhgts, attitudes and feelings.
In Practice:
* Ask yourself honestly whether you are inclined to place the responsibility for your personal happiness & well-being in the hands of others. For example, do you imagine you would be happy if only your partner would change?
* Ask yourself whether and how, you blame outside factors and circumstances for your lack of success, inner peace or happiness.

* Refrain from complaining, reproaching yourself and pointing to others as the reasons for your dissatisfaction or unhappiness for seven weeks. On the same day each week, write down honestly what certain situations and relationships in your life right now tell you about yourself, your beliefs and your patterns of feeling and thinking.

Why your happiness is so important -
If everyone knew that they were responsible for themselves, knew that they always had choices, and started making their own happiness a priority, I believe we wouldn�t have murders, rapes, wars, or other violent acts.
