Druid Heart Spirited Grove

Draoi Croi Croga Garran is Irish and means Druid Heart Spirited Grove, it is pronounced Dree Cree Crow-Gah Gah-rawn. We are located in Cohasset California about 20 miles above Chico. I Rhiannon, have lived in the Cohasset area for a little while and have recently went through a very growing experience. I like the area because it is very beautiful. I have a passion for trees Ogham Lore and I am surrounded by them. I am an Artist, and I have been creating custom Ritual and Personal items. I studied many paths all were wonderful experiences and I treasure them all but one really stood out and helped me to find wholeness.....Druidism. Druids practice in Groves instead of Covens. I founded Draoi Croi Croga which means," Druid Heart Spirited". The path of Druid craft working within a Grove in my own experience grounds our energies and has a strong foundation. Our goals are simple, we work to connect our spirits, and branch out, let's grow!

We are loosely formatted and have an eclectic bunch of Druids that help people on their path of learning. We focus on Gods and Goddesses of the Cymric ( Welsh) and Irish traditions. We work with the healing powers of connecting earth, sea, and sky and bringing them to wholeness outside and within. We are open to dedicated seekers of Druid Wisdom and Love of the Trees.

What Druids Don't Believe

* Druids don't believe in sin, we experience Karma. Immediate action/reaction
* Druids don't believe in hell because Karmic debt happens when you are alive
* Druids don't believe in separation between Creation and the Divine
* Druids do not worship the devil, because that man made myth only exists in the minds of those who give that twisted perception energy
* Druids do't believe in Adam and Eve or original sin. We honor life and view it's creation as Original Blessing
* Druids don't believe in the bible or that sort of Dogma. Druids were Pre-Christian and Pagan

Were Druids of old all men?

Despite the stereo type of the ancient Druids as having been long bearded patriarchs, you didn't have to be male to be a Druid back then and you don't have to be male now. About half of our members are female and women hold half of the positions of power in the organization. We have deliberately chosen to make gender and affectional preferences irrelevant to participation. As worshippers of Mother Earth, we could do no less.

I hope that I have piqued your interest. I invite you to check out the next pages to find out more about Druidism and some sites explaining more about it. Continue
