Psychometry is nothing more than the ability to pick up (receive) the energies that have been left behind on an object and translate those energies into terms we humans can understand. Now that sounds mystical and magickal, but if you are like most people, you have occasional picked up an object and had a scene flash through your mind. Or perhaps you were at someone's house, touched an object and immediately didn't like the person, or were afraid of the person. These and the thousands of similar instances we all experience from time to time are nothing more than little bursts of psychometric attunement. Our goal with the school is to teach you to be able to use your ability anytime.

There are only 3 steps to learning psychometry.

1) Preparing yourself
2) Holding an object
3) Practice, Practice, Practice

Preparing yourself is the easy part. You need a relatively quite place to work, where you won't be distracted by televisions, children etc., etc. Your place to work should also be comfortable. I often use one of those back support pillows and site in bed while I work, or in the living room floor while in a comfortable yoga position. Lately I've been working more and more while sitting at the computer. Any place you feel safe, secure and comfortable in should work just fine.

Next you want to be calm, centered and relaxed. Most everyone has their own method for doing this so I won't go into it here. If you don't know what this means or how to do it, e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll meet you in the chat room to explain it to you.

I know some people that can read an object much better if they never physically touch the object. They have someone place the object on a table in front of them and then use their hands near the object to read it.

Other people need only to barely touch an object once and will then move off in an almost trance like state while giving the entire history of the object.

Others must hold the object near their hearts or the third eye area of their foreheads. Still others need to hold the object in their hands and then stare at it.

Your job will be to determine what works for you. Most of the time the way you first pick up and object and hold it (without thinking about it) will be the right way for you, but you may have to experiment. Let your intuition tell you what's right. In other words do what feels right to you because there is no wrong way to do it. If the way you originally chose to do it doesn't work, try something else, you will eventually find what works best for you.

This is where Moonmama's Mystic Mansion comes in. On our web site, we offer free psychometry reading to everyone. They are required to send an item (usually will be a photo) along with a self addressed stamped envelope for the return of the item and their reading.

You tell us how many readings you would like to do each month. This is something you must determine. Perhaps you only feel comfortable trying 1 per month, perhaps 1 per week, perhaps 10 per week, whatever works for you, works for us.

On the Free Reading page, we ask for donations to cover the costs of operating the school, including covering the postage to get the reading from us, to you. I fully believe we will get enough donations to cover these costs. But there is a chance as the site builds that the donations will not cover the costs. If this happens we may have to ask the students to donate a small amount each month to cover these costs. The amount will probably be no more than $2 or $3 and at the most $5 (overseas may be higher). But this is the only cost you will ever have should you decide to participate in the school, and it's possible we'll never have even this small charge if donations cover the costs.

The problem here is I rarely charge for anything I do. I've always worked from donations. As traffice builds on the web site, we could have thousands of requests for readings and hundred or even thousands of people participating in the school. Now I can handle $25 to $50 a month in postage costs, but when it gets to be several hundred dollars per month, I'll have to ask for the students to pitch in a little. I hope you understand.

Some of you may prefer when you do your first reading to meet me in the chat room and let me talk you through things. That's fine and I'll be glad to do it, just let me know.

I ask just a few things of my students. Read them here and see if you can live with them BEFORE you join the class.

1) Always be honest with me. I'm not doing this to make money off you or anyone else. I could easily charge $25 per month per student and would still get all the students I'd want. I do this so I can give back for some of the many blessing my abilities have given me over the past 35 years. Without honesty between us, I'll never be able to help you be the best you can be.

2) When you agree to do a certain number of readings per month, and I send them to you, you must do them unless something really major comes up. We're all human and occasionally things happen. The kids get sick, a relative dies, etc., etc. These types of things are understandable and when they happen, we may have to get you to send your readings to someone else. But if you 'just didn't get around to it' because we had the big PTA meeting, or the kids are playing baseball now, then you need to cut back drasticallly on how many readings you are agreeing to do. Later on when the situation changes you can increase it again if you like.

The problem here is even though we are offering free readings to people, we are offering them a service and they deserve a prompt reply. If you take a reading and don't get around to it for a couple of months, it's not being fair to the people that requested the reading.

Plus there is something called the Law of Cause and Effect. Some people may call it Karma but either way, when you agree to do something and don't follow through you are setting negative energies into motion and thereby inviting negative things into your life. With all the negative energies running around in our society these days, the last thing you want to do is invite even more negative energies into your life. So make a decision on what you can handle. If you make the wrong decision, let me know and we will take care of it by changing how many readings we send you or sending part of yours to someone else. But don't just let them sit around and never get to them.

3) Remember that you are but one of many. I will bend over backwards to try to help someone develop their psychic abilities. I'll work one on one with you through e-mail, the postal service or in the chat room, whenever possible. Just please remember you are but one of many. It is the middle of May 2000, and as I write this, we have zero students. However, I fully expect by the end of this year we will have several hundred student and I'll be working with each of them as they need it.

4) Remember that I am only human. You will find that I occasionally make mistakes. I may get in a hurry someday and say something that your intuition says is wrong. Should this happen, let me know because it is quite possible I was misunderstood and it's also possible that I misunderstood the question. Last but not least it is also possible that you have picked up on something that even I didn't know. The main thing here is that before you accept something that doesn't feel right to you or makes you mad, talk to me about it.

If time gets to be too big of a problem, I may have to limit the number of students that I'm working with at anyone time or I may have to designate group leaders that will each be responsible for keeping in contact with a group of readers. We'll cross those bridges when we come to them, I just ask you to please be patient.

5) Practice whenever you can. I'm sure you've heard the old saying, practice makes perfect. Well when developing your psychic abilities, that statement is extremely true. The more you practice the better you will be.

On the web page offering the Free reading, we tell everyone to please let us know how well we did. When you send a reply to someone, ask them to please let you know. By getting this feedback, when you get to the point where you are right the vast majority of the time, you will be ready to start charging for your services (in other words you'll graduate from psychometry school). At this point, we will gladly prvide a list of our graduated students along with contact information so people can get in touch with you.
