Vanessa's apartment

By the time Vanessa had reached her apartment, her mind was boddling with different for this new mission. Jim had called it Mission Impossible, and she wondered if it was just a figure of speech or did he know more than he revealed.
Already half an expert on last-minute packing, she quickly threw in her travelling toiletry bag, and a few clothes. That, and her gun, and she was ready to go.
Chris, her mind told her just as she was to walk out of her apartment, again.
Dropping her travelling bag on the floor, she quickly dialed his home number, and heard his recording messages.
"Hi, this is Christopher Starling. I am not at home at the moment, so please leave your name and telephone number after the beep and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If it is a urgent message, you can page me at " he recited another string of digits.
"Chris, Vanessa here. Got something on. Will be away for maybe a few days. Call you when I'm back."
With that, she left the house.
Dulles International Airport

By the time she reached the airport in her little Japanese vehicle, almost everyone was there, except for Leo. They waited for him for a while, and he soon turned up, just in time to board the flight to Boston.
