A new teammate, a new case....

Location : JEH Building
Time : 9:10 am

Leo walked into Zulu's office looking a bit disheveled on this morning of all mornings.

"Hello, Agent Jones." Jenny said with a smile. "You look like you just woke up."

Leo smiled at this, "I did. I swear, my alarm clock is intentionally trying to get me fired. Is everyone in?"

"Well, Agents Gorky and Reaper are in there with the newest addition to your group, Agent Reed. Agent Lee left for the firing range, I beleive." Jenny thought for a moment, then added "And Agent Stern left in a hurry. He didn't say where he was headed off to."

"That's not like him. Oh well, I best sneak in as best I can." Leo smiled.

Jenny laughed and went back to sorting out the incoming memo's and other interoffice junk that passed by her desk every day.

Leo entered the office and tossed his cell phone in his desk drawer. He saw that Zenya and Jim were talking to the new agent when Jim's phone suddenly rang.

> The telephone rang and Jim answered it, and turned on the speaker phone.

>> <> Jordan said. >> <> all at the airport as soon as you can get home and ready. I'll get >> Jenny to organise the tickets when I get there. Now, go on, and >> I'll see you for take off.>>

> "No rest for the wicked," Jim said and left the office.

> Zenya nodded to Martin. "See you at the airport," she said, and she, too, > left the office to go home and pack.

"Well, this is unusual." Leo muttered to himself, then remembering that Agent Reed was still there, extended his hand and said, "Agent Leo Jones, the wayward agent of Zulu. Welcome aboard."

Martin smiled and shook hands with a good firm grip. "Thanks, Martin Reed here. Glad to meet you."

"Same here." Leo smiled. "Well, we better get packed, Jordan and the airport awaits us. See ya at the airport."

With that, Leo left the office and headed back to his apartment to get ready.

As fate would have it, Leo found his suitcase sitting by his bed, still packed from the Santa Fe trip. After returning home, he didn't have a chance to unpack before he headed off to Durham. He was still puzzled by what he thought he saw when he left the cemetary, which was part of the reason why he was so tired this morning. He tossed and turned the night before, trying to make some sense of what he either imagined or thought he saw.

"Well, no time to ponder that now." Leo thought to himself. "You got yourself a brand new case, as secretive as it was. It must be pretty important if Jordan didn't want to discuss it on the phone."

Double-checking the suitcase, he found everything as he left it. He checked his gun and looked for his cell phone. After searching for a minute or two, he remembered tossing it in his desk back at JEH. Rolling his eyes, he grabbed his suitcase and headed back to JEH.

Jenny looked up from her work with a touch of surprise in her eyes. "Back so soon, Agent Jones?"

Leo chuckled as he went into the office and brought out his cell phone. "Can't leave home without it."

Jenny gave off a little laugh. "Good luck with your training mission in Boston."

Training mission? Boston? Leo's mind raced to incorporate this new info. He turned towards Jenny and smiled, "Well, after Santa Fe, I think we could use a training mission or two."

Jenny returned his smile and said in a dreamy way, "Santa Fe? I wouldn't worry too much about that, some things are just beyond our control."

Leo continued smiling, wondering just how much Jenny knew about what happened in Santa Fe. "I guess so, but it was just so frustrating getting pulled like that. So close... you know?"

"I know. But we all get our orders from someone." Jenny said, before turning back to the work on her desk. "Good luck and have a safe trip." She added with a smile and wave.

Leo waved back as he left the office, a million things crossing his mind as he made his way to the airport.

When Leo got to the airport, he saw that the others had already gathered and was waiting for him.

"Sorry folks, it's been that kind of day." Leo said apologetically. "So, Jordan, what's the training mission in Boston for?"

Jordan smiled and said, "All will be explained on the plane. We'd better go catch our flight."
