I've had these miniatures for about ten years, and they saw a lot of use before I got burnt out on fantasy. They came in a boxed set made for TSR's "The NEW Dungeon!" game, and came with new spell cards and new rules for the spells and different character "classes".

I stripped these down and repainted them about a year ago. The first time I painted them, I did them with enamel paint for models -- in one day!
