Riding on top of the Canadian Valiant line was the Signet convertible,
seen here in a riverside park in downtown Windsor (Detroit is in
the background). The only noticeable styling difference between
this Canadian Valiant and the U.S. versions was the use of Dart
bodies from the cowl back. Valiants were sold in Canada by both
Dodge and Plymouth dealers, and were the Canadian Chrysler Corp.
compact. |

Accepting delivery of a 1963 Dodge Power Wagon, 3/4-ton Series D-200
truck with a 6-passenger crew cab is Father Arthur C. Kreinheder,
America's first and only Lutheran Monk. He needed a new car to replace
an ancient vehicle used to transport retreatants to St. Augustine
House near Oxford, Michigan as well as a replacement for an old
truck used to haul livestock to market. Dodge's crew car trucks
combined passenger comfort and space with the best features of a
6-passenger car. The Power Wagon version added four-wheel drive
to these attractive features of the Dodge crew cab.
