*Cyborg Stan gets hit repeatedly with the butt end of a rifle, but
rolls out of the way. A well placed backflip knocks Captain Woodlouse over,
and is hit with the staff in the follow-up. Woodlouse manages to land a
few hits to the guts, and Cyborg counters with roundhouse to the head...*

Sorry, I meant 'Final Fanasty Six (Three in the US)'. And believe
me, it sounds better in WinGroove, or at least the midi player that came
with Windooze.

*grabs a long peice of console and begins to rapidly swing at Stanley
does a flip over his head and hits him in the head only to get a series
of rapid punches to the face, woodlouse then grabs his arm and swings him
over onto the floor with a thud, as woodlouse turns to attack he gets kicked
into a wall leaving a woodlouse shaped hole. As Stanley aproaches the fallen
woodlouse a peice of circuitry falls onto his head and shorts him out for
a while. The two fighters have effectivly canceled each other out, they
lay there while the sounds of beam weapons and explosions can be heard
rocking the armour of the ship.

*meanwhile, elsewhere on the "Slicer" Alien tribbles are seen to
have escaped from the planet surface and set up a new home, an Alien Tribble
Queen (green and furry) is breeding at a terrible rate*

*Having broken into the Slicer shortly after it came up for air,
TDK charges through the decks firing at every last lump of fur he sees.
Unfortunately this includes human heads far too often. He charges through
with only a single though on his mind.* Kill the Tribbles.

*The two duelers slowly wake up and spot eachother. They advance
and are about to engage eachother once again when the sound of tearing
metal causes them to turn and look at the disturbance. There they both
see the fastest zombie imaginable, carrying a large phaser rifle, run across
the room knocking them both down yet again and then charging through the
opposite wall.*

In the chaos if battle, a vital power cable was cut. With no power
going into the Slicer's Temporal Sustainer, the backup cells start draining
at an alarming rate. Emergency claxons and flashing red light activate
throughout the entire fleet. In a voice suspiciously like Sarah Michelle
Gellar, the computer notifies all members of Stan's battle fleet. - "Warning!
Warning! Main temporal sustainer field collapse imminent! Reversion to
the 25th century will occur in T-minus 10 minutes! All time-jump ships
not within 100 meters of the Slicer upon reversion will be permanently
trapped in this temporal nexus!! Warning! Warning!"

Elsewhere: When the Slicer submerged offshore, it caused flash flooding
of NY and Manhattan. Ironically, the city was saved from the tsunami by
an unexpected bit of good fortune - The largest, toughest breakwater in
the universe. A beached SSD. The tidal bore rushed out of the ocean, crashed
against the side of the SSD, and dissipitated. N.Y. is saved. The accompanying
storms, normally a threat in themselves, were considered a godsend. For
they put out the countless fires still raging in the city. The fires on
SSD_Insufficiently_Reluctant's own deck, littered with flaming debris from
the now obliterated ID4 saucer, were also put out. Nothing squelches a
fire more effectively than a few megatons worth of tsunami.. Among the
great deal of wreckage washed off the SSD's superstructure, was one lone
mirrored egg. Freed from the entrapment of tons of ID4 wreckage, it slowly
lifted into the sky, panned about as if homing into a distant signal..
and dissapears with the sound of a sonic boom.

On board the HTMS Slicer: Hearing the warning claxons, a resourceful
cyborg from Stan's engineering crew rushes into the gym, rips out the excercycle,
and brings it back to the engineering bay. Quickly, he wires the two together,
and then starts pedalling furiously. The claxons cease, the flashing red
lights go out, and the irritating Sarah Michelle Gellar computer voice
announces that power has been restored to the temporal sustainer system.
For now. The cyborg, tongue hanging out in exhaustion, hopes he has bought
his fellow warborgs enough time to regroup and throw off the enemy boarders....

Inside the SSD _Insufficiently Reluctant_, all is not well. Inside
the world's biggest breakwater, self-proclaimed Admiral Jadesfire stalks
around the auxilary bridge, glaring at the surviving senior officers. The
limp body of one of the non-surviving officers lies on the floor with a
broken neck. "What do you mean you didn't see that thing!" "Uh...we've
determined that the officer on sensors at the time was...uh...playing a
Doom tournament with one of the off-duty ensigns....." The Admiral nods,
annoyed yet unsurprised. "Have we got anything out of the prisoners?" "Most
of them seem to have been crushed when we...uh...landed...." Jadesfire
smiles in a decidedly disturbing manner. "Good. Saves time."
