*One of the first things Leroy the Protector did on acquiring the Jolly Roger was to makes an inventory of all the ship's contents, resources, supplies, equipment and capabilities. He restored air to the lower-deck cargo hold, as he often goes back and forth between between the hold and the ships excellent onboard science facility. Now, the living area has become littered with bits and pieces of the Jolly Roger's internal components. Clambering out of the trapdoor from the lower hold, Leroy hoists yet another sack-full of modules from the Vulcan's spare parts supply, and gets to work on them using the excellent onboard scientific equipment. Slowly, an odd rube-goldberg device is assembled in the center of the living area. Unnoticed in a corner of the now air-filled lower cargo hold, a certain dark-gray egg in a biostasis field begins to leak what appears to be a tiny droplet of mercury the size of a pinhead. The biostasis field was meant to inhibit molecular motion, and would slow down the atomic motion of particles within the field by a factor of over a thousand. Yet slowed-down does not mean stopped, and as the air gradually penetrates and difuses through the field, it encounters and reacts with the dark gray hull of Zapper's dropship. Now, days later, the effects of this slow oxydation allows a single pinhead droplet of quicksilver to tunnel through the field at an excruciating speed of a millimeter per hour. After over a day, it reaches the field perimeter.. and drops to the floor. With a soundless splash, the pinhead droplet becomes seperated into innumerable microscopic parts, and disappears from view.*

OK Forge, explain yourself, or suffer the consequenses of my two weeks of net deprived maniacal mind designs. I've come up with an ultimate weapon that nothing can defeat...

Deux ex Machina looked around apprehensively as he walked into what could be loosely called the biology lab. Even stepping carefully, he could not avoid crushing one of the delicate nerve tendrils of the xenocreep, which rumbled ominously underneath. Mech froze as Jadesfire emerged from a nearby door, and glared at him. Her skin seemed a little greenish today, but he decided not to bring it up. "Mech, how many times have I told you not to damage my specimens?" "23, ma'am, but I was just saying we've prepared the last cargo of materials........" "Already? Good. Don't bother telling me when we arrive, you're disturbing the symbionts as it is." "Uh....yes ma'am..."

"Oh, and Mech?" "Yes, ma'am?" "Get me Lady Cicilia Doef'Rini on the comm in 10 minutes. I need to finish feeding the specimens."
