The second Warbird decloaks in the middle of the Vulcan formation,
and hurridly opens a channel...

Mel was dimly aware of his surroundings. He felt the faint buzz
of a stasis field around him, inhibiting his movement. The last thing he
remembered was... chaos, dissociation, evil... Mel now understood what
it meant to be repulsed, and horrified, and regretted the lesson. Knowing
that he was no longer safe here on the Far Star, he took a quick check
of his resources, found them sufficient, and set to himself a task. He
would have to move slowly, unobtrusively, to avoid the wrath of Jadesfire
once again, an encounter Mel was sure he wouldn't survive. Slowly, his
ravaged components began to assemble... a trasmitter. Once complete, he
would send a distress call, hopefully getting someone to come close enough
to beam him off. How he would accomplish this, he would figure out at a
later time. His mind processed, slowly, focused on this new goal...

Reacting quickly, the crew of of the Vulcan starships VDF _Enlightenment_
and VDF _Electron_ quickly scanned the wrekage of Erisai's Warbird and
TDK's faux BoP for lifesigns, and beamed every living being they could
detect to safety. Next they luanched a dozen Class-2 Remote Probes, to
tractor-beam the Warbird's main reactor away from any nearby planets, before
the quantum singularity evaporated.

The Far Star, which had been tractored into the Inderdictor instead
of TDK, stayed closed and seemingly silent....until Jadesfire nodded to
herself and had Elisia key the hatch open. A pair of humans entered, and
then the hatch closed itself. One of them, a young if rather unremarkable
woman, took a glance at Elisia/Jadesfire and frowned. "That isn't very
nice of you..." Jadesfire released Elisia's mind momentarily and shimmeded
into existance beside her "No, it's not, but it's neccesary. For now. Mech,
theres an android in the corner, I'd like you to take a look at it, figure
out what makes it tick...but keep it "alive" for now. Never sacrifice a
possible asset...." Elisia, fully in control of herself for the first time
in a while, blinked. The voices were the same...Jadesfire sent her a warning
glance. "Right now, nothing matters except me and _her_. You're a pawn,
everyone's a pawn. Remember that, Elisia." Jadesfire smiled thinly "But
even the lowliest pawn can become a queen, if she survives. Don't cross
me."

*The new Field Marshal sat in his ready room going over reports
about the status of the fleet, things dident look too good, of the 60 ships
they had stated with in the system only 26 remained, 29 lost in conflict
and 5 sent over to the Doef'Rini for classified reasons. Cheesybean was
outraged that 5 cruisers could be so thoughtlessly sent over for no clear
reason, especialy since the home fleet had took such extensive losses.
On the plus side however, the Zahh'Nothi fleet of 30 battlecruisers would
be of great assistance, and they had already placed their battle squadron
under the administration of House Woodlouse's Space Corps. Meanwhile the
actions of the Romulan vessels was worrying and now that the fleet was
at full operational status, Cheesybean decided he should offer assistance...*
This is Field Marshal Woodlouse to all ships in the fleet, we are now on
a Red Alert status, repeat we are now on a Red Alert status! All ships
proceed in Gamma B formation toward the Romulan ships. *The ships make
formation and begin to acelerate, as they do they phase into Q-W-F Space...*

*The entire skeleton crew is beamed off the ghaytanHa'* Great. Just
great. Now I gotta rescue them because of their stupid programming! Can't
kill..... Even Bill Gates wouldn't be that restrictive. Oh, well, time
to get out of here. *He tries to activate the hyperdrive but the consule
starts blinking "Unable to comply: Large mass shadow in area."* AAARGGGGHHHH!!!
Stupid Romulan singularity!! *He smashes his hand against the panel, hitting
the warp drive button. The engines warm up and the ghaytanHa' bursts away
from the wreckage.*
