*Knock, knock, knock* Come in Duker, the door is open. Duker: Thank you, your Techness. Smithy: Oh stop calling me that. Just call me Smithy. Now please, sit down and make yourself comfortable. Good. Now Duker, I have thought about your request and I have decided that we will help you. We gnomes have wanted to use our, ohh how should I put it, exotic weapons for quite some time, and since these Vulcans seem to dislike you this is a perfect opportunity to see them in action. (Seeing Duker smile and nod his head in satisfaction, Smithy pulls out a pad with military specifications on it.) As you can see here we have 200 one-man fighters and 100 small attack ships like your own already built in case something like this came up. Each of the attack ships are equipped with a portal gun like you have. Duker: Yes, but how will we all go through the portal to enter the Sol system? Just my trip nearly drained my ship of power. Smithy: I knew you were going to ask me that. How do you think we got where we are? (Seeing a look of confusion on Dukers face, Smithy elaborates.) Then you dont know. This is not a planet, Duker. Well it WAS once, until we found out what good is a planet if it isnt mobile so we transformed it into a ship. We equipped it with a portal gun of a massive size that is located at the core of our planet. That will take us there, Duker, and with this ship in its transformed shape will help you defeat those Vulcans. Plus, we were getting kind of tired of this place; we need to seek out some new technology. This ship will carry on its nose the new Gattling HVIC, which should be nearly completed. Let us go and see the progress on it. Smithy and Duker get up and start to walk to the door when Duker turns. Duker: Thank you Smithy for you assistance. It is greatly appreciated. Smithy: Not a problem. Anything for a fellow gnome, Duker. {Seeing shock on Dukers face} Come, I will tell you what you need to here. Smithy and Duker, who is almost unable to walk, exit the house and head for the test site of the HVIC.

*In his years adventuring and such, you learn a few things. One was to stick around places to see if something interesting would pop up. While he certainly could have wandered about this ship looking like he normally does, he had the feeling that would not have suited his purposes. His rather bulky armored lower legs limited the number of disguises he could use. He would probably want to replace them someday. On the other hand, it was okay for now, as there was another reason he choose this particular one.....*

First Alien : This one didn't have it either. Second Alien : This is a bit harder than I thought. First Alien : Perhaps, but I did manage to find this instead. Second Alien : Ah. This seems good. First Alien : Yeah, instead of searching for this 'Specimen #Il-219-JK' in a thousand different storage areas, we only need to search a couple hundred. Second Alien : True, although that's still a few hundred less to search......

5 lightyears from the scene of the encounter, Captain Starn picked himself up off the deck, and returned to his command chair. Billows of smoke were filling the bridge, and several crewmen were coughing. Off to the left, someone was using a handheld fire extinguisher on a flaming console. "Damage report" he ordered. "What's our shield status?" "That question, Captain", came the reply from the veteran officer at Tactical, "would seem to imply that we still _have_ shields. This is not the case." Starn knew Lt Commander S'Krask well enough to know what the man was thinking. "I told you all along that your idea wouldn't work!" didn't have to be said aloud, it hung in the air between them. Deep beneath Starn's calm exterior, savage fury blazed. "I underestimated them! A bunch of redbloods, hardly out of their caves, and they took _me_ by surprise!" was his unspoken thought. Only the superluminal defensive reflexes of the main computer had saved the _Cyclotron_ from destruction. Just as the shields went down under the furious barrage from the 5 ISD's, the AI had initiated an emergency Warp jump, while at the same time jettesoning several anti-matter pods, mixed with dilithium, to create a decoy explosion. Even so the ship was battered, with some hull breaches, and multiple system burnouts. Ordering the crew to set best speed for the nearest Starbase, and leaving his first officer on the bridge, Starn retired to his quarters to ponder how he would describe the events to the Fleet Admiral. For a Vulcan, lying came hard, but that did not mean he had to tell the full truth.

*In the shouting match that erupted after the ghaytanHa' skipped passed the _Still Unnamed_ nobody noticed the little orange spider crawl up onto the navigational console. It scurried across tapping the various buttons until it got to the last step. It stood beside a rather large button on the edge of the panel. It shouted out "Engage!"and then pressed the button. Everyone turned to the viewscreen and saw the stars which rotated around, stopped, and then raced backwards as the ghaytanHa' jumped into warp.*

Jadesfire/Elisia glanced at Mech. "I don't like this...she's resisting me too easily. I seem to have underestimated her power...now there's no way to avoid a confrontation of some sort and Erisai will probably key in on her wish for revenge...I can't take both of them at once..." Mech keyed up an image, a seemingly normal on of the Interdictor's hull. Jadesfire's eyes widened slightly. "Your eyes are better than I thought....this will simplify things considerably. Me and....the clone...(this said with not a little disgust) will be heading out. If we can harness the resonance of the third..." Mech nodded...it was uncanny the way he understood how she thought. "I can handle the girl and the android. Trust me." Jadesfire nodded again at Mech's statement. She had never trusted anyone before...but she trusted Mech now. And she didn't know why.

*The _Still Unnamed_races into view and then stops as the ghaytanHa' decelerates from warp speeds.* Ooookkaaayyy.... Well, let's get permission to land, and then collect our crew. *Orange spider "Land? Don't get me wrong. I'm sure it can be done in there, it'll be a tight fit though. But why?"* Because I want this ship locked down as securely as possible, including transporter controls. I don't want anyone else to just "borrow" it at their convenience. *"Ok. requesting permission to enter the hangar then....."*

*Orange Spider: "Well, if you don't mind parking with the back half of the ghaytanHa' sticking out into space we are cleared to land in the main hangar."* Ok. That sound fine. But I thought you said we'd fit. *"Well, I forgot about the Far Star which was already parked in there so we can't fit all the way in. It doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon so it will probably be safe to block its path."* The Far Star, eh? Well, go ahead and land. The shapeshifter who stole my ship came in that thing. I'd like to have a word with him/her/it. These changelings are getting quite irritating to deal with. *The ghaytanHa' lands blocking the Far Star's only exit from the _Still Unnamed_'s hanger and the gangplank is lowered. Scorpion is the first to run out but trips over a nearly invisible piano wire at the top of the ramp and tumbles to the bottom. Dark Commie just starts cracking up. Scorpion then turns around and raises his hyperblaster.* Hit the deck! *TDK dives down and tackles Scorpion as Dark Commie falls on his back still laughing dodging the rain of blaster bolts that fly up and hit various points on the ghaytanHa''s interior. TDK rips the hyperblaster out of Scorpion's hands.* Stop it! Stay here and make sure nobody walks on board except for me, ok? Dark Commie, you come with me. *The two of them go over to the Far Star and look for a way in.*

Meanwhile, Mech, Clone-Jades and Elisia-sans-Jades look for a way into the BoP....

*Scene : A little kid is running his remote control car, making the various noises using his mouth, when of a the sudden, a huge robot falls on him. He is rather suprised, but quickly gets out from under him. Of course now both the control and the car is missing..... and the robot is rapidly walking away as if nothing happened. As it happens, it was not a robot. With the missing parts he needed, he walks to the hangar level and ducks in a bathroom. Discarding his disguise, he works quickly on the device he brought with him.....*
