The During Pictures Of My Charger

Well here is where the fun really begins. These are the pictures of my ongoing efforts to restify my 1974 Dodge Charge SE Bourgham. If you have looked at the before pictures then you have see what I started with and let me tell you once I started stripping off paint and old bondo it was a lot worse than I thought! But we will let the pictures tell the story. Just a quick side note. At first I was planning on having all of the old rust cut out and all new metal put in, but seeing as this is a project on a budget I have decided to just coat all of the rusty metal in POR-15 and do the body work with fiberglass and bondo. Yes, this is not the perfect answer I know, but this car has always been meant to be a driver not a trailer queen and I feel the big bucks can be better spent on drive train items. Hey and think of it this way I am performing the ultimate test on the product POR-15 we shall see how well it holds up! Well change number two, after finding a wrecking yard that had a ton of parts for my car to include two beautiful quarter panels for the low price of $150.00 a piece I have gone back to plan one... Replace the rear quarters, but I plan on doing all of the work myself to keep the cost down. Well the during page has finally gotten so large that I decided it was time to expand. At the bottom of this page you will find a link that will carry you on to the next page. Look on and be amazed at how the work has progressed.

Now on to the good stuff!
