The Jeep's First Run through the Cowan trails.

This is what the Wagoneer looked like before I started. Yes, I know this has a striking resimblance to how it looked on July 29th, but this is a totally different day. August 5th, 2000. I had gotten all of my vacuume problems fixed the night before, so my T-case would lock in.

This was what my first attemp at climbing the Limestone Stair Steps looked like.

This was as far as I got before my t-case chain started slipping, so I had to back down. On the way back down, the engine died and wouldn't restart so I had to just let it bounce down like it wanted to.

An abandoned saw mill at the top of the mountain was a great place to test the Wagoneer's articulation on its never been tried springs. Erik guided me onto the testing surface. If you want to learn more about the truck in the background, check out Erik's page at www.nav.to/brownford.

We were all thoroughly impressed by the articulation that the jeep had. Its passenger's side rear tire never came off the ground!
