The Stanford Concours d' Elegance is held annually at Stanford University. This year our Impala was chosen to be in the circle in front of the Sheraton Hotel for the Concours Judges Dinner. We felt honored, as only a few cars were chosen to be shown at this event.

The day before the Concours we participated in "The Drive," sponsored by the Jaguar Club. We met at the University, along with avout thirty other classic cars. We drove over the mountains to the coast and back. We drove over "twisty" roads. Roads not really designed for the size of our Impala. We stopped for lunch in a Redwood Park. It was great fun!

The Concours Event
|
Our Impala was entered in the "W" Class. This is a new classification for cars that are driven, rather than riding on a trailer. It is very difficult to compete with cars that are never on the roads and highways. The "W" Class includes all years and makes of cars.
