We
left our home town on this sunny friday in mid-august east, driving heavily packed
ZXR750, Z650F and a XJ 600 Diversion. We decided to drive trough the Spessart
to avoid traffic jams on the A3 and making a fast ride on the Motorway then
strictly towards Goerlitz the polish-german border and hoped to arrive there
in the early night. But one of the Musquetieres, exhausted from work, fall
down to sleep near Hoesbach, a town just a few kilometers apart from home.
Finally we made it and reached the beautiful historic (everything there is
"Gruenderzeit") Neustadt of Dresden close to midnight for diner in one of
the freaky Bars of the "Free Neustadt Community", a colorful leftover Hippie
Project. The rain, which had started in the evening, stopped while eating
and we found a dry place to camp in a small forest on the countryside between
Dresden and Goerlitz. Camping in Germany, outside of a campground, is strictly
forbidden as so many things, but we have had never serious problems with
that, always leaving our Campground clean.
