Sonic the Hedgehog fan fiction

Here's a quick recap of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" SatAM cartoon for those who are unfamiliar with that setting, as these stories are based upon that.

The Last Legion

Written by guest author Gideon, these stories form part of the background of Mobius: The Second Saga.  While the Last Legion, that great band of heroes for time immemorable, is joined together once more for the present conflict, equally-fearsome evils are born to face them, not all of them Robotnik's doing.  These stories will eventually be connected with my own series set in the future (Mobius: The Second Saga) and a series which will continue the story after the failed Doomsday Project (which I will begin to write and update once the entire Last Legion set of stories is here on the site).

A Champion's Bier

 Once upon a time, an evil enslaved the world in metal chains, and for eleven years held sway over the land.  But this evil had ruled long enough, and it was time for the Last Legion to be brought back to fight against it.  And thus it was that Equinus, a Freedom Fighter, was chosen to join a fateful raid in Mobotropolis that would lead to his true destiny.

Ashes of the Phoenix

With the resurrection of Paladin the Unicorn, another member of the Last Legion is awakened.  Even as Robotnik sends an assault force to deal with Lower Mobius deep underneath the city of Robotropolis, two strangers meet in the Dark Swamp and make their way toward Glass Mountain to revive Shrike the Gryphon.

Lion's Claw, Serpent's Fang

Paladin and Shrike both walk again, but there are still the two remaining members of the Last Legion to resurrect: Drake the Manticore, and Basilisk the Cockatrice.  As Lower Mobius prepares to meet an invading force, the core Freedom Fighters make a daring raid deep within the heart of the most feared place within Robotropolis - the Main Roboticization Center.  But the consequences of that raid will be far greater in scope than anyone could have imagined as a new threat is created.

Mobius: Second Tyranny

This has the same basic setting as Mobius: The Second Saga (featured below), but these stories are more recently written.  I decided to restart the series under a different name, and I'm planning on pushing this series forward until the end.  One hundred years after Robotnik's final defeat, Mobius is at peace.  But this is a peace polluted by a corrupt government and a selfish king.  Even as several thousand homeless Mobians known as streeters fight to survive every day of their lives, the social elite chase fashion and pat themselves on the back for being so wonderful.  But on the anniversary of Robotnik's defeat, a single man has taken the steps to plunge Mobius in darkness.

This is the chronicle of the most terrible war to make itself known to the children of Mobius.

Darker Days Ahead
This is the beginning, where we are introduced into a world that is about to be torn by war.  It is a child of Mobius who begins what shall be known as the most terrible conflict on the face of the planet.  But it is also children of Mobius who escape from the machinations of that madman who seeks to establish perfect order for the sake of all who live.  And soon enough, these key players shall cross paths and influence the fate of the world.

To Choose
Rad, Claire, and Gyro, the streeters known as the Rowdies, have escaped from Mobotropolis by a stroke of unwitting luck, but when they accidentally stumble upon a hundred-year-old secret, they must make an important decision that will challenge them in a way that they had never thought possible.

Mobius: The Second Saga

This series begins one hundred years after Sonic Hedgehog defeated Robotnik for the final time with the Chaos Emeralds (which will be written as the First Saga set after the Last Legion series above).
Mobotropolis has been rebuilt.  Robots have been replaced with decent, hard-working Mobians.  And yet, a sinister madman plans a new future for Mobius, and for the rest of the universe.
And the only thing standing in his way is the new generation of Freedom Fighters.
There are new episodes every once in a while, so keep watching to see how the Second Saga turns out.

Foreshadow
An average day for a street gang in Mobotropolis, but a madman gets ready to resurrect the horror of roboticization.

Nightmare Reborn
Marty Kreaton has taken over Mobotropolis!  The Rowdies escape through a twist of fate and they stumble onto something that will allow them to fight back.

Preparation
A time for the Rowdies to get acquainted with Freehome while Kreaton continues his reign of terror.

A Choice to be Had
The Rowdies get to take a look at the special equipment that has been prepared for them, and they are faced with a choice.

First Strike!
The first time out with the Salamander tanks.  A rescue op, the first mission against Kreaton.  Also, Bandit gets ready to leave the palace.

Escapade
Bandit's daring escape from the Royal Palace!

Readying for War
As both sides prepare for the oncoming war, Bandit runs into a partially-roboticized Mobian cult.  Also, Kreaton finds a stock of materials left over from the Great Struggle.

Unwelcome Revelation
The Rowdies find out who's behind the takeover, but before they can take action a runner brings dire news.  The Wolf Pack is under attack!  The first appearance of the black crate.

Another Strike
The Rowdies head out for their first major conflict with Kreaton's larger robots.  Meanwhile, Kreaton tries his best to figure out the secrets of the black crate.

A Short Respite
The Rowdies gain a desperately-needed break while Azrael is released from the hospital and trained for her role as an artillery leader.  But meanwhile, Kreaton finds a way to unlock the mystery of the black crate and finds out what has been held inside for over a century of brooding and anger...
