January 5, 1999 -- Another award and another nice compliment: "I enjoyed surfing your site, and I am sure everybody else will too." It's really nice to know that people appreciate what I'm doing.

January 5, 1999 -- My first award of the new year! I really appreciate this one because I had to work to get it! The first time I applied, Tom was kind enough to point out some rather serious design flaws and invite me to re-apply after I made some changes. I spent several weeks trying and discarding ideas then re-applied for the new design you now see. Here is an excerpt from Tom's comments:

"After seeing the revisions to your web site, I could tell you've put a lot of time into improving the design and navigation. I'm glad you found some of my feedback to be of use. The site navigation was easy and the content was definitely worth a return visit. I enjoyed my visit and am glad to see the improvements you've made. Once again, congratulations on a great web site and the best of luck to you in the future."

Unfortunately, Tom's site seems to be gone. I checked the link and it goes to a "file not found" error page. Thank you, Tom, for all the time you put into reviewing my site! Sorry to see that your useful and interesting site is no longer.

December 15, 1998 -- Although I am proud of all the awards The Tangled Web has received, this one is particularly meaningful because Riata Peitz's Finger Prints & Paws was one of the places I went to drool when I was first creating web sites and using linkware created by other artists. I'm extremely proud to announce that The Tangled Web has been awarded The Star Site Award! You should check her out! December 14, 1998 -- The Tangled Web has just been awarded Ric Noell's Cool Site Award. I really appreciate this award, as well as the marvelous compliment that came with it. Thanks Ric!
