I have been considering writing this part for quite long time. It is very hard to me to make it good, because it is the place where I was born, grew up and working now. It even can be regarded as part of life. I don't know whether my work can really reflect the true aspect of Shanghai, since I know it too well. Anyway I must make this step, so I started. The day I began to take photos is the National Day if China. And my photos will mainly introduce some important buildings in Shanghai. I think I cannot bring each part before your eyes, but they are almost the most important ones. Shanghai is a super metropolis with very large area, all these photos are taken by me during this National Day vacation. From 15:00 Sept 30th, 1999 until 1:00 Oct 2nd, 1999 I was busy moving from one place to another. And during this period of time all my rest time is only 5 hours' sleeping, I am exhausted, anyway I am rather glad to finish this project and able to show you soothing.
