At Aimee's three week check up...she weighed 5 lbs 8 oz and was 18 inches long. Her belly button stump finally fell off on the tenth day.
At her two month appointment with her pediatrician, Aimee weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. She had FIVE shots. She cried, of course. She tends to curl up her tongue when she cried, which is so cute. She's starting to smile more and more. :o) She sleeps up to 6 hours at a time during the night, so her mommy and daddy are actually getting some rest!
At three month, Aimee likes doing the tongue games. She also likes grab mommy's fingers and shove them into her mouth. She had her first professional picture taken. She wouldn't smile for the camera. Oh well!
At her four month check up, she weighed 12 lbs 5 oz and was 23 inches long. So she is catching up! She also had 5 shots. She started to eat cereals and fly on the plane for the first time. :o) She also went swimming for the first time but she wasn't too fond of the waves. Also she had her first belly laugh. She laughed whenever mommy or daddy said "woof."
Five months old - Aimee learned to roll over from back to tummy and from tummy to back on the very next day. She also started to eat veggies. Carrots, peas and green beans are her favorites. She doesn't like fruits much.
At six month check up, Aimee weighed 14 lbs 14 oz and was 25 1/2 inches long. Wow! She is getting taller! She sleeps 11 to 12 hours at night which is so wonderful! She started to give razzies, so you had to step back when you were talking to her, unless you want to get wet! And she signed "milk"! We were delighted.
A day after Aimee turned seven months old, she can sit up very well without support. She used to sit up a lot of times before but with support. She started to notice very little things such as tags that attached to the stuffed toys...she stared and studied them. She was very cute.
Eight months old ~ Aimee pulled herself up! I was opening the big box that Grandma and Grandpa Mann sent. Aimee was very curious and pulled herself up in order to see what in the box! She hasn't learned to crawl yet, but she is very expert at rolling...she can get around by rolling. She still flash a huge toothless grin. Yup, no tooth yet. Aimee starts to babbling a lot. Her favorite thing right now is to play with the presents under the Xmas tree.
At her nine month check up, she weighed 17 lbs 8 oz and 28 inches tall. She finally crawls and get into EVERYTHING. She also can walk w/ support by the activity walker or cruise around the furniture. Now she has 4 teeth!
Ten months old ~ She can say few words such as dada, mama, bye bye...etc. She also can signs some words like eat, more, finish and daddy. Still crawling and cruising but can run with the support of the activity walker. She finally learned how to clap.
Two days after she turned 11 months old, she cuts her two front teeth. No more vampire looking teeth. Ha! She can stand by herself for a moment. She took few steps but hasn't walked all over place yet.
