WE must have this things to work so start looking.

The first thing we will do is to get a place for our groovy site we will make. I have choose Fortunecity. They are not my friends and I have no connections or earn any money on it. There is only one reason I chose them and I had a really good call for it. Its free, no charge, no money to pay every month.  When you get really good at html you will have about 15 different sites on the net and if you had to pay about 8-10 bucks for   each of them. I think you got the point there.

Okay! no more talking just hard work from this point.
Start your connection to your ISP and go to this places

When you see the page look for Get free webspace click on it.

Now you will get a picture like this

You have to fill in all the info on the page

Here you have to choose a place for your site

Userid: what is the name you want to have on the site. Like Mike�s homepage
Password: Your password and its a secret and don't forget it.
Your email: This email will appear in the page and info about you so personally always get a alias-email, I get somewhere else and put here. The confirm paper will be sent to this email so make shore the email works
then you push the button and you will get this page

Please write down all the Info you got in this page. Its very important to do that. In the bottom of the page you have a button click on it. Now you will have a passwordsign appear on your screen

Write your User-id and your password and push OK

Now you got this page with lots of places to put info on it. You diced what you will put on this info but if you are going to do a site that will be big and famous put the right info in it. Like this example. Your daughter have a handicap and you want to tell about it, to get contact with others they can find you easier if you put the right info here.

Okay push the button in the bottom of the page.

Here is the places to chose how you shall make your page. We are not doing anything only to shut the connection down course we are going to do a WebPages on ourselves and not it a lame webmakerthing.

Now we shall get a ftp-program. This is a program that will send our files to our webplace. You can find a lot of them on the web and I have chose WS ftp. Of cos. its for free:-)

I like to say something here. There is a lot of guys out there working their ass of and spend maybe a year to build a program. Most of the time the program is working better, have smarter functions and less bugs than the big commercial program (like Bigroufe) most of the time this guys want you to registry and pay a fee of 10-15 bucks. DO IT!. Sometimes they want to get a postcard and a halloo I love your program. DO IT!.  This guys are our future and we need more program that works than we have now. I will stop bugging you on this now and we will start to download this program.

This program is free for you as long as you are a private person and don't earn any money when you use it.

Start download. you will get a sign that ask you to save the program on a discspace or open it directly. save it on disc and click OK

Now the computer will ask you to save it in a place. You can save it where every you want but I have a very good tip for you. Make a map and call it downloads from internet. When you download something from the net always use this place.

You  will now see a sign that say how fast it download and some other info. Forget it and get a cup of coffee.

You don't need to take a place on Fortunecity. or use WS ftp. you can use what ever you have or got but it will be easier for you to follow my instructions on the lessons.

Lets see we have a webplace and we have a program to beam the homepage and we also are finish with our first lesson.
