cromwell forms with the following line up:
paul blacksmith (guitar), peter mcallister (guitar), wanda blacksmith (bass), and john myers (drums)

release of demo tape followed by first east coast tour

second east coast tour including the nine fest in baltimore, md

cromwell takes on the name of winterset

release of self-titled, self-produced compact disc

fourth tour incuding the east coast, canada, and mid-west

fifth tour / first tour with east coast rock band SWANK

wanda blacksmith and john myers leave winterset, peter mcallister returns, lee o'boyle and william j learman join - thus attempting a three guitar project with paul, peter, and jesse on guitar, lee on bass, and j on the drums

lee o'boyle leaves winterset, peter mcallister moves over to bass - band returns to a standard 4 piece

release of the "Actuality" e.p. - a free three song sampler of the forthcoming album "To Travel Miles Only To End..."

after being out print for a short time, the self-titled album is repressed by The Awareness Program

seventh tour - this time taking on portions of texas, the midwest, and the southeast

winterset takes on an agreement with Po Boy Productions (portland, or) to achieve a new level of sales, promotion, and distribution in the northwest

release of second full length album; entitled "To Travel Miles Only To End..." (Anvil Records USA))

eighth tour - east coast / southeast

winterset signs an agreement with The Relative Music Group (tacoma, wa) -  a  national booking agency

winterset is added to the roster of Rock Solid Promotions (houston, tx) who will also be assisting the band as a national booking agency

ninth tour - texas and southeast

winterset records a series of live promotional videos for Live Unsigned - an L.A. based A&R company
