Maybe you want to know when and why #pomp has been made and why we're using POMP as channel name.
POMP has been made on Jan 17`2000 by some one of #POMP SOP and two weeks after #POMP has been registered for the first time the founder nickname has been changed to dark-cycle until now.
Below is the guys that have #pomp passwd :

3. SonzZ / `Chan`IRC / king`dragon
4. anton99 / red`dragon The four guys that made #pomp funky and cool for everybody that joining #pomp.
And we have many loyal friends such as kece_feb, d3w4, chdono, Ak-CooL etc.
At the beginning we couldn't believe if we could made #POMP bigger and bigger, cause we thought it's difficult to make a channel which liked by IRC Mania, so we will survey everyday to look what thing that we can do to make our visitor loyal in #POMP.

What is the meaning of POMP ?

The meaning of POMP :
1. Station e.g: Gasoline Station ==> the place to buy gasoline for your vehicle
2. The Club of Lazy Man and Unemployed ==> is it true ??? ===> this comment we've got from the visitors that visiting #POMP, but we think we're not a lazy man .

Many #POMP visitors asked : where are #pomp citizens come from ?
==> #POMP citizen we invited from #BaWeL #JaKaRtA #InDoNeSiA #BaNdUnG #SuRaBaYa #MeDaN #KhUnTiEn and any other channel .......
So to answer that question we can only say that #POMP citizens are invited from the top ten Indonesian channel that has been growing up to be a bigger channel ...
And we are the #POMP Ops want to say apologize about any growing up channel that we have invited too, but we try to not inviting from other channel except the top ten channel.

#POMP will try to make our visitors always happy and save on our channel so we try to make any guarding on our channel such as :

Below is the explanation for IRC users

  1. Why that nick is available on akick list ? ==>
    answer : cause he/she has been doing any action that can make channel in trouble and not save anymore for other user, this action can't be tolerated, but we give the solution for the nick or ip that available on akick list.
    1. the user that have been in #POMP akick list must be filling out our akick form if they want take their ip or nick back from #POMP akick list.
    2. #POMP will put any people that available in #POMP akick list at POMP website (www.p0mp.org)

  2. Why any user got kick banned ? ==>
    answer : maybe he/she is doing any troble action which can't be tolerated on channel , like :
    1. Inviting #POMP visitors to other channel
    2. Making trouble in #POMP
    3. Using badword
    4. Mass advertising without founder or #POMP ops agreement

  3. Why i got kick ===>
    answer : Doing something that can't be tolerated by #pomp ops
    1. badword
    2. too many repeating
    3. saying any word to attacking #pomp
