| You can use these designs
on any plain colored scarf, or on a piece of flat
straight cardboard. If you are really creative and have
the tools to do so, you can even carve or burn it into a
large square piece of wood. To use with these scarves you can use a throwing die from any old board game you may have sitting around the house (but remember to use it only for the purpose of fortune telling once you take it to use for divining). You can also make a pendulum out of a piece of fishing string and a pointed piece of crystal or metal. (Crystal is said to work best but I have seen pendulums made from metal that worked fairly well) |

These are just a couple
of designs I created myself. The one above would probably
be best used for more complicated 'readings' while the
design to the left is very similar to the design of the
Ouija board so may best be used to communicate with the
after life. To make a pendulum tie the fishing string around the flat end of the crystal or piece of metal, making sure the entire length of the pendulum is about 1 to 1/2 inch shorter than the length from your finger tips to your elbow. |
| To use the pendulum for a reading you must hold the pendulum directly over the center of the scarf and concentrate very clearly on the question at hand. Stay perfectly still and watch where the pendulum sways and spends the most time at. | To use the die method, ask the question and toss the die (softly of course). Wherever it lands corresponds with the answer at hand. |
