| Ultra Mother, also called
"Mother of Ultra," is the wife of Ultra
Father, and is the prime healer of the Ultra-Warriors. She appeared as a human to give
Ultraman Taro his Ultra Badge, allowing him to
transform from his human self to his Ultra self. She was also responsible for creating
Taro. She reappears at times to assist Taro. According to "Mr. X", Ultra Mother demonstrated, at least on one occasion, the ability to emit a healing beam; this beam could at least heal Taro of any critical injuries. Matt Thorn adds that Ultra Mother's healing beam not only healed Taro, but actually brought him back to life after the monster Birdon had killed him. Because of these attributes, Ultra Mother is the leader of the Silver Cross, basically an Ultra equivalent of the terrestrial Red Cross. This beam, according to Feroz Mohamad, is called the Mother Beam; it could also fix a broken ColorTimer. Ultra Mother also has a Mother Destruction Beam, presumably similar to the Specium Beam or equivalent. |
